On September 12 2012 21:17 Incomplet wrote: Yeah Nestea is that overdue ham in your fridge which you know you will never eat or even give to your dog, but keep forgetting to throw it away. Sorry man, your time is up, make way for the new Zerg Overminds - Life, Leenock, Curious and the elephant himself, RorO. Yeah, fuck you. The moment you make hundreds of thousands of dollars doing something you love, and have experienced years of hard work leading you to be one of the absolute best at what you do, you can tell him it's time to retire. Until then, you can shut the fuck up and show some respect. This kind of shit shouldn't be welcome here. Dude, loosen up a little. Nestea has had accomplished a lot with 10 successive code S participations and 3 championships and I respect him for that. But it is no secret that he has been failing for a very long time now. And when you are playing for a living, and not bringing in the cash from it, there comes a point in time where a career change may be needed - this is only logical. With Nestea's stance in the ESF during the whole KeSPA controversy and his general respected reputation among Koreans, there is no doubt he can gain some kind of managerial position in the E-Sports scene, or even as a coach. At the very least he could plan a major comeback when HOTS comes out. But as of right now we need to be realistic and acknowledge that at this rate, a progamer career isn't the best choice for him. Except you're questioning his major life decisions. If he's happiest playing the game, even without success, then support him in that, or express something completely different. Regardless of what's the most productive, he's doing what he wants to do, and that's something that should be respected. You're acting like the overbearing parent that just wants their child to settle down and get married already. Sure, feel that, but you sure as fuck don't have any right to express it so long as you see them as an equal and an adult, capable of making their own decisions. I'm telling you, and all the others who express this kind of thing, to think about respect before you post this kind of thing. Sure, I can loosen up, but every now and then one of these posts makes a big impact on someone. And, to me at least, that's really stupid. I understand how you feel, and you have a point to an extent. But you have to understand that such is the nature and passion of E-sports. Fans will turn gay for their favorite players and ridicule other players for a multitude of reasons such as underperforming or being over-hyped. And for E-sports to have such passionate fans is nothing bar spectacular. Like I said, I understand why you may feel upset, but if you are going to continue to feel emotionally connected, then the forums may not be the best place for you to take too seriously because such is the nature of the Internet. Thats the whole Internet, not just TL forums. I'm not particularly upset dude, I pretty much made an example of you to make a point. It seems like it's been made, and you seem like an intelligent guy; I don't feel any ill towards you, and I'm glad if I made the slightest impact.
Passionate fans are awesome, but people can always learn to express that passion in more positive and respectful ways.
To take the argument to an extreme, I don't think passion can be used (at all) as a defense for anyone who sends hurtful personal messages to a 'celebrity', in eSports or otherwise. When was the last time you empathised with a stalker? It's all different branches from the same tree.

He came back and won the GSL! Just beacause some people want to think that his slump coinciding with kespa players being introduced means he should give up and let the 'next generation' takeover. I find this point of view even more confusing because he is being knocked out by gom players like supernova and not kespa players. Actually, Mvp's slump could be considered a dream for many pro players out there. Yea. Mvp's "slump" was him simply not winning everything.
it was such a sad time in my life

JYP so goood at sacking nexii. What a beast. >_>
Supernova should play straight up more often, instead of those gimmicky builds.

JYP's play from behind is fucking awesome. He & Hero both put some crazy demands for multitasking on their opponents in the lategame. It's really impressive ^_^
