The audience wants to see them both play, are you really that ignorant? OSL is a TV broadcast, it wants good ratings that come from exciting match-ups like this one. That they might have both advanced already is irrelevant.

Those are probably the two players who would never even consider that. Besides the little rivalry they got going at the selection show, MC has repeatedly picked some of the hardest opponents available for GSL groups.

Not sure how that is possible. These aren't weekend tournaments that can schedule to avoid each other. GSL basically runs from like 6PM - 10PM on weekdays. Unless one of them is willing to move to start at like 2PM, I don't think it will be possible. And it is pretty obvious they do not want to move to 2PM due to the viewership in Korea.

He had like 9 raxes at the end of the game so i think he definitely fixed that. Considering he shot up from 120 supply to 200 in just a matter of minutes as well.

Please don't turn this into Kespa vs GOM wars, or say that MC lost instead of Flash winning. Flash identified what MC was doing and he defended it with ease, showing great macro and map presence the entire game. And this against arguably the best protoss in the world. Give credit where credit is due, don't hate.

I would say both. Nothing in the line + poor control of the collosus/stalker + nice defense by Flash.

kind of both. mc's first set of forcefields wasn't optimal, then he failed to snipe the vikings with his stalkers, which led to the loss of the colossi. flash's bunkers helped him a lot, he then moved on to kill the push with a superior concave. mc's zealot positioning wasn't optimal, too.
Well, to me I saw Flash make zero mistakes except for the 169 blunder, but he already had won at that point. Zero mistakes equals winning the game, not the opponent losing the game.

He was attacking a Group of like 4 Marauders and a few Marines with a couple of Colossi while letting them get sniped by Vikings. Still though, its a Bo1, doesn't mean much. I'd love to see them meet in a Bo5 in like the round of 4 or something.

Plain fanboism, simple as that. Flash read MC's playstyle excellently and played better overall. If kespa players start dominating then the only factual conclusion is that kespa players are better. The best part is that it makes the game more healthy from a competitive point of view. Hopefully we will be seeing new innovations from these "new" players over the coming months. I feel that Protoss players have recently become very stale and almost every game is a variation of a 2-base timing or all in. Perhaps it's a larger issue based on the actual game play mechanics and not the players, and if the kespa players over the next few months do not deviate from that either, it will be a good indicator of a problem of design rather than innovation.

MC's style is too easy to predict, and that's his signature game also. With his signature game, he still can't win, who is the better player? It is clear now.
Great games by Flash, he is undefeated in his group and looks very strong. And like some people already pointed out; Flash only needs focus on Terran vs Protoss since there are almost only Protoss players in the league lol. I wouldn't be surprised if he won the OSL.

Well that's actually the earliest they could possibly meet. Depends how the selections shake out, but assuming both advance the earliest they can meet is RO4, possibly finals.

mc decision making = he decided to semi/allin on 2 base and failed knowing the fact that terran had his 3'd up and running ( he scouted 3'd base of flash with probe after planted down the reinforcement pylon ) .

I'd advocate for the thread to be unlocked. Originally there was not enough games to have a stream of healthy memes, so the thread derailed to its doom. Now we have reason for more good memes, especially since KeSPA players are catching up fast.

The entire group phase has been played on Tuesday and Thursday morning (US Eastern time), it's not really that confusing.
Sun (Rain), Flash, MC, Oz, Flying, 1 of Fantasy/Last, 1 of DRG/MKP, 1 of MVP/Parting. That seems like a pretty interesting RO8 to me.

Unremarkable game which I blame it on MC. I don't like that guy but even then I'd have expected a bit more exciting game. It was like watching HuK's recent games. Afterward I learned that he was already in next round so that could have been a factor (or not, who knows).
Flash played like any other terran. Including the dumb mistake where his army got trapped to death by forcefields.
Everybody forget the point about playing against Flash.
I don't know if MC did play really bad or not but the opponent usually looks bad when losing to Flash. It's not that he plays horrible but Flash MAKE him look like that.

Like in a soccer game, a star player of a high school team plays excellent when facing against others high school team. But if he was to put to face against Brazil, will he ever have a chance to show any thing at all? He will certainly look like a kid that just start to play soccer for few days. The opponent is too strong, in both defense and offense, hard to see any weak point to attack.

Boxer and Yellow = Goku and Frieza
iloveoov and savior = Gohan and Perfect Cell
Flash and Jaedong = Mystic Gohan and Majin Buu
IdrA is probably Krillin, best of his own kind (Earthlings = foreigners), but gets whooped by top tier fighters / players.

So the 8 vikings killed 3 colossi then MC retreated.

I myself can image how I can win a 1v1 game against MC, yes that's what I can think in my mind but not what I can do for real.
Seriously, playing in that situation against GOD is not as easy as you think.

I don't exactly know what happened, and I won't make silly theories, but I'm not sure MC wanted to win this game. Point being I'm not even sure he killed a single viking (which are the sole and only important target, once you reset the viking count, a single starport mean you are doomed). Or perhaps his screen power cord unplugged during the battle. (yeah, those are silly theories already)

I myself can image how I can win a 1v1 game against MC, yes that's what I can think in my mind but not what I can do for real.
Seriously, playing in that situation against GOD is not as easy as you think.
The point is, as bad as I am i would have done a better job. This was a figure of style which aim was to underline how bad of a job MC did and not to say how pro I am. It was obvious.
