Perhaps his hands are giving him a lot of pain after that tournament run

Baby defended his aggressive build in G1 and rode that advantage to a win and proxy banshees put him behind in the second. Baby also played very well when he was in the lead. I think people's expectations got heightened after he won IEM and expected him to win everything. But the players levels are all very close that small things end up deciding matches. I mean look at Keen, he didn't even make it out of his Up and Down groups but took down trap who had one of the better (close to best I think) records in PL.

I don't think we'll ever have old MVP back.

How did the bio player, Baby, win vs the meching player , MVP? Baby was ahead after the proxy starport bansheen attack. So he chose bio to get a 3rd base, MVP chose mech to do a 2 base timing, without expanding to 3rd. MVP sieged up outside of baby's 3rd and natural, it was pretty close at that moment, but Baby won the viking fight. So from then on, with great patience and marine drop on tanks, finally baby killed all MVP's tanks with 1 or 2 marauders left. Then it is a 2base vs 3base TvT, MVP tried to get a 3rd, but torn apart by drops and multi-front attacks, did not get 3rd eventually. GG from there on. Pretty good game in general.

Well he said it himself, the competition has caught up but on top of that, he has stagnated because of his inability to consistently train. So yeh, he won't ever be dominant again, especially with these KESPA gods appearing. I hope he remains competitive though.

Well, MVP had 6 SCVs left after baby's banshees were done with him. so even with faster 2nd orbital the game was pretty over
