http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=363482¤tpage=255
and it goes on for several pages and just gets progressively worse..ah my brain hurts that NOBODY who didn't know about the probe-scouting (see thread note at top) posted something that gave Leenock, a top professional player, the benefit of the doubt that he knew what he was doing

Pretty much nobody there? Did mlg have a bad showup or was everyone at LoL or what? 2 stages set up for SC2 this weekend due to WCS also being run at the event. People probably spread out a bit more. Ya but that was the final, there wouldnt be anyone at the other stage It was playing on both screens.. weird, that seems kind of unproductive. if i was MLG i would pack one room. Sponsers like to see that "insane" crowd at events The crowd shot that they showed had every seat taken. Not sure what the problem is.
Seemed like there was a decent crowd there to me. They didn't do much advertising for this tournament for some reason, but I thought it was well done.

It's not that, it's the fact they agreed to split the prize money between themselves.

What happened in the LoL finals that could be so blatantly called out as collusion?

Henceforth, you will address me as such or suffer the smack down.
Huh... it's not often that something on the internet really changes my outlook on the world but that there actually did a great job of putting things in perspective

Adam Apicella @MrMLGAdam The collusion was planned and discussed in a public, crowded setting. The entire venue was aware of it. Not happy to be in this position.
Well there's the fact that they colluded in public.

We have determined that there was collusion between the two final teams, Curse NA and Team Dignitas. This is in clear violation of both the letter and spirit of MLG’s Official Pro Circuit Conduct Rules: “competitors may not intentionally Forfeit a Game or conspire to manipulate Rankings or Brackets.” As such, both teams have been disqualified, and no placements or prize money will be awarded.
Riot has agreed with this decision and, in accordance with their Season 2 rules on Unsportsmanlike Conduct, will not be awarding Circuit points to either team.
The 3rd and 4th Place teams will receive the prize money and Circuit Points they have earned, and all other results stand. No 1st or 2nd Place will be awarded for this event. We all saw that coming. I can't believe players are that childish sometimes. Wait, how did people see it coming? There were rumors or something?

that explains it

My god those kids are stupid.
If you're going to split prize money ( don't do it ) at least be smart enough to not tell everyone you're doing it.

No Arena announcement? Man, i'll be really upset if they don't do the Arena this season. =(

MLGAdam says the punishment was due to collusion.

Riot agreed on the punishment as well.
