Untrue. Back in Beta Artosis recently stated the Koreans called him something which was a long the lines of 'The Best' and then when Fruit won the first GSL they called Fruit that.

Are you sure they weren't calling him TheBestFou?

Artosis says a lot of stuff. Remember when Major was going to be the next terran bonjwa?

Weird because Greg backed him up on it and said it was a pity no one globally knew about it.

wait greg agreed that he was the best in the world? that proves everything, im a faster swimmer than Phelps

go watch king of the beta

idra was arguably the best before release,
im not a fanboy, and think he has fell quite far. BUT he was king at one point, everybody was scared of him

nobody ever won an MIT laptop from EG's tournament to this day ( is now a teamleague, it was a solo league before that and greg was the end boss, never lost)

would be nice to see that idra again, but i think its long past, glad for his performances today though

TesteR says hi. Also Genius, TOP, RainbOw, FruitDealer. Hell even White-Ra beat IdrA convincingly back then.

I think IdrA can 2-0 IceCream if it goes to late game though. He's definitely not looking very strong in TvZ (IceCream that is)

He beat Tester in the finals of King of the beta (and Tester was considered to be the best korean at the time). The others you mentioned except fruitdealer made their names after release. Whether you are an Idra hater or not, it is a fact that Idra was considered by many, including Koreans, to be the best player in the world from the beta until a few months after release. There's actually nothing to argue about because it's true.

I guess there already were a lot of discussion about it but I am just starting to watch this mlg, if I understood right the bracket, Alicia with a good seed play Leenock first round when some other lower seed get random american grandmaster?
In which world it was supposed to work and be a good bracket system?

sup?

Bravo, one online tournament that idra barely won at a time when most of the koreans didn't even start to play sc2

read the rest of my post? i said before release, when yes, most of those players didn't play, but the ones he did he was convincingly better than
i posted it because you said he lost that tournament, which he didn't

yes, most of those players didn't play
again, nobody said he was god
we said he raped back before release
which he did, im done talk to the haters/flamers/trolls

GL idra in the rest of tourney

We're haters/flamers/trolls because we make a compelling case for why you're not 100% correct in what you're saying. Take care bro.

MLG idra edition, watching idra play random americans for 2 days now...
When is an actual MLG starting? the one i watched every other time and actually saw top players from day 1

Championship Sunday AFAIK. MLG has allways been the least interesting tournament to follow during the early stages, double elimination to blame for a lot of it TBH. I'd rather see a round-robin BO5's with no need for 2x elim

I would argue DreamHack has a worse Day 1.

Yeah, but dreamhack makes up for it with free 720p and great production

Nice try IceCream, but IdrA is probably going to face Stephano (if the brackets are right).
