I think it would have been possible to start a week earlier. That gives you a clash with ASUS ROG but as your main demographic appears to be North Americans then that clash would have been less of an issue.
The best solution would be to just run qualifiers on weekdays though, then you avoid the issue of conflicting with weekend events altogether.

Its really sad that three favorites (Illusion, Major, Scarlett) for the whole thing either got walked over or forfeited. But such is life and there's always another qualifier for one of them to win
