Is it not possible to skip through the recording if you haven't purchased HD? Says it's a premium feature when I try, but it's never been this way before .

I used to be a Stephano anti-fan but I gave up, he's too good that's it's too painful to cheer against him. I accepted his skill after he won NASL.

It's nice to see at least one foreigner who can complete and beat the Korean players, sc2 would indeed be dire for foreign players without him.

We have Naniwa too in the GSL of course but he doesn't go to many foreign tournaments these days while Stephano goes to almost all of them.

Yeah, beating Hero and MC in succession as a Zerg is one of the most difficult things you can ever accomplish. That pushed it over the edge for me, I used to think he was over-rated but not anymore. Up there with Dongraegu for sure as best Zerg.

Up there with, not equal to or better than I think Stephano is 2nd best Zerg after seeing Symbol's recent fall.

I think it's very hard to judge the difference between Symbol/Nestea/Leenock and Stephano (you could even throw guys like Curious, Coca, Hyun etc.. into the mix).

If those three Koreans spent all their time playing foreign tournament which in most cases have a slightly weaker or far weaker lineup than Code S they would have really, really damn good results too.

Likewise if Stephano spent all his time playing GSL and GSTL he wouldn't find himself winning 80% of the games he plays either. Stephano spends a lot of time beating on foreigners, lower Code S and Code A/B Koreans and the odd elite Korean. When he plays guys like Nestea, Symbol, Mvp, MMA, MC, MKP his record is fine but it's not like he's doing better than breaking even at best.

DRG's record this season speaks for itself that he is a cut above.

Aeroplaneoverthesea thats simply not true. Check his games and stats from the last 3 months and you will see a huge list of Code S players beaten. And not only beaten he beat them with a +70 win ratio. Check the stats from youself plz

Atm Stephano stats is absolutly insane. Sometimes I cant even belive what im seeing when im checking his matchup stats the last 3 months. Its allmost unreal considering how volatile sc2 is

I included players who were Code S at the time of the games being played (perhaps I missed or added a few who were/weren't Code S I guessed some of them). All games from 2012 and including only games played on LAN.

32 games won, 33 games lost. So just under a 50% win rate.

Obviously that's actually really good because it's against the best players in the world. My point is that if he was like Nestea and played against this player pool exclusively he wouldn't look nearly as dominant as he does when he only plays in foreign tournament (which IPL and MLG aside) always feature far inferior player pools to Code S.

He also does far, far better vs Protoss than Terran/Zerg.

The bolded are games from the last three months which would give him 25 wins and 21 losses. Good win rate, nothing out of this world amazing though.

uhh... what? Oz has good PvZ and Hero when he is on his game has amongst the best PvZ. This is no cake walk at all for Stephano.

Also.. I make the assumption that the finals has the winner of bracket one vs the winner of bracket two so if you look at the favorite to get out of there being Taeja, then Stephano isn't even the favorite to win the tourney. Taeja when he is on is crazy good. Stephano is good enough to beat everyone there but I don't think he is the favorite in every match.

lol korean bias to the fullest.

... idiocy at it's finest.

So I believe that Hero and Oz who both have good PvZ can beat Stephano? Nothing bad there I hope.

I believe that Taeja is one of the top players in the world right now with the way he has been playing in Korean and foreign leagues and believe he is the favorite in the match. Something bad there?

I believe that there are some matches Stephano is not the favorite in but can still win... something bad there?

Grow up or get better arguments. Winning this will be no cake walk for Stephano. Many players are good enough to beat him and some players could even be considered the favorite(Obviously not in your books).

Idiocy at it's finest...lol right bro!

Anyway! Take a look at Stephanos last 14 games and tell me why Hero's in it and lost 1-3? Even MC himself fell. I can see Taeja as a possible candidate to beat Stephano but not the other two. I said "korean bias to the fullest" because you clearly ignore the fact that Stephano is better then hero and oz and still favored them over Steph lol.

Too bad Stephano cant answer the immortal push that destroy's him when any protoss with insane micro goes for it and completely destroy's him. Wait for GSL and see Code S protoss's destroy him with pretty much every timing in the book. Get off of your high horse.

Lol, he already destroyed every code S protoss player who is relevant in PvZ...and literally destroyed.

HerO also forgot warpgate and still beat Stephano in the EGMC ace match. So he's by no means "unreal". Sure he's good but he's never played anything in Korea. We'll see how he's gonna do in GSTL. I'm also really interested in why he's not playing Code S even though he could. I think I've got an idea why but yeah.
