The time has come for our next Losers Round 4 match of the IGN Pro League Team Arena Challenge 3!
When: Thursday, Jul 12 11:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also rebroadcast repeatedly afterwards!)
Format
This double-elimination tournament features 24 teams from around the world and is an All-Kill team format. This match is being played for Losers Round 4. The first team to defeat everyone on the opposing team's roster (5 wins, or a best of 9), will move on in the Losers Bracket, while the loser will be eliminated entirely. Keep in mind that this has a $20,000 prize pool, and only six teams will make it to the money!

Talk about EG dodging a bullet. This is absolutely awesome in the big picture. Liquid and EG both in the Premier League (if I understand the format correctly).
Sucks for NSH tho, guess they couldn't make the time work.
And yeah, in the short term, that sucks balls, would've been a good match.
Then again, this one's great as well, really hope Prime pulls it off. FXO is great too, but Premier league with MVP, Liquid, EG, Slayers and Prime is an absolute dream come true.

While Leenock has traditionally been very strong in ZvT, he's been looking really weak in the matchup lately. Imo, this is because Leenock was the absolute last Zerg to switch from a 2 base muta style into a more modern 3 base ground based style. Thus, he doesn't have as much experience with this style compared to other Zergs of his caliber and often looks lost.

Two epic games from 2010 had a baby. Clide vs Leenock on Shakuras and MKP vs Kyrix on Xel Naga (last game of the series vs Kyrix that began on Shakuras).

As far as I remember, Leenock was one of the first Zergs to really realize the potential of Infestor based ZvT armies, and would only use double Spire Mutas occasionally. Well, doesn't really matter at this point, seeing as he beat MKP with the style, so he at least understands how to use it against Code S caliber players.
