How much is that for brackets and luck? MVP has one tournament. MKP is doing well in everything he goes to.
I don't know, MVP only had to play his worse matchup against the best PvT players over and over again - oh, and he can't grind away practice games because of his wrist (he said he currently plays 10 games a day)
DRG vs. MKP has never been a rivalry for me. They are both top players so it seems naturally that they meet up at the finals especially given the double elimination format. MVP vs MKP in my opinions is the best rivalry out there (next to IdrA vs Protoss) because MVP has swept aside MKP every time they've met. I would love to see MKP face off against MVP, just to see if he has truly improved.
If they meet in the GSL, Mvp is likely to win because of his great ability in planning out strategies for an entire series.
If they meet in a tournament like MLG or any tournament without a long lead time to the series, MKP will win.
Not exactly the most relevant piece of evidence, but Mvp had beat MKP in Providence 2-0, so Mvp is quite capable of beating MKP in MLG-like settings, but in his current state, I doubt it is possible.
Dont ever doubt a fourth time GSL champion.
MKP is the best player of foreign tournaments, but MVP would rather have time to pick out exactly how he wants to play against a certain player, something that MKP is not very good at doing.

This is off topic, but there is a reason that in professional sports players who injure themselves are ordered to take time off (even if they think their injuries are not overly dangerous). I like MVP but he needs to take a break to fix his wrist; the way he describes the pain makes this whole thing sound very dangerous.
Back to topic, I would really like to see MKP vs MVP but IPL doesn't necessarily need to send out someone who can take him down. They haven't had one play dominate the IPL FC, and I could see MKP being the one to do it.

At current metagame a top zerg like DRG and Symbol should be slightly favored against MKP in a BO9.

The first loss was MKP going a trollish 4CC off 1 Barracks and he just died. The second was a proxy gate vs 15CC which damaged MKP a lot. He died a bit later
