Format
This double-elimination tournament features 24 teams from around the world and is an All-Kill team format. This match is being played for Losers Round 2. The first team to defeat everyone on the opposing team's roster (5 wins, or a best of 9), will move on in the Losers Bracket, while the loser will be eliminated entirely. Keep in mind that this has a $20,000 prize pool, and only six teams will make it to the money!
Should be an easy win/ AK for EG if they play their high level players, but I'd like to see them start off with some of the guys who don't get as much play time
I see EG taking this, but I imagine it'll be a 5-3 situation. I imagine EG will try to send some guys who don't normally get time, but dtG wrecked aTn-Type before, and EG will probably have to close this out with PuMa or JYP.

His hold of the 6 pool was not impressive either. Yes, building a cannon in the main was good. Chasing after 4 zerglings with 12 probes for 30 seconds, not so good. Then making 24 cannons after scouting the nydus worm... not so good.

Thing is, you need to be careful with the amount of static defense you build in that kind of a situation; if you build too much, your opponent can just back off and build a bunch of workers, so you want enough so your opponent can't break you, but not too many, so you still have the lead if they don't try to bust or are just faking.

Sickness is kinda silly, but it's always a pleasure to watch him play.
I remember that Pomf et Thud (French casters who organized Iron Squid) used to have some replays of him about one year or one year and a half ago in which Sickness made insane micro tricks with warp prism before any other pro-player. He seems to be one of the initiator of the timing attack with four sentries and a prism based on forcefielding of the ramp between main and b2.

I don't know if he realized this, but all of IdrA's games from 2012 arent in thier. Like 20 games from Spring Arena Qualifier where he won most are missing, and all his WCS games were he got fourth are missing, and his loser bracket games from MLG are winning. its closer to 35-40% winrate 2012, and 90% of the losses were early 2012 where he played IPL and the MLG Arenas (mostly), losing to ro32 and better GSL palyers. His biggest wins were 2-0'ing MVP before his GSL win, beating Supernova Inori, some others. Idra had been playing shit early 2012, but recently he's topped the ladder and actually been preforming really well. The last 2 tournaments he's played in he probably had like 60% or 70% win rate, losing zvz games, and falling 2-1 to Axslav. He's not a joke, not "still" a joke, and the previous time he had a downswing, and was a "joke", he swung out, won IPL 1, IEM China, and ASUS Invitational.

Maybe, but those guys are usually super fast. More likely the WCS just isn't on their radar for notable wins, which is why the TLPD isn't super reliable. Wins over guys like kawaiirice and Illusion should be notable. But maybe your right, we'll see if it gets updated.

WP by DTG, 3-5 is a decent result against a huge team like EG and there is no shame in going down to Puma, if EG used their b-teamers then they would have lost
