Huk is through, and Strelok and Sen are next in line with the same series score.
Edit: I stand corrected. Disregard this post.
|
Ok, so since the winner of every group advances, plus the top 3 of the second places, Huk isn't actually guaranteed his spot yet.
If he loses 2-0 and Strelok wins 2-0, Strelok wins the group and advances. Huk is then 6-2 with +6 which likely won't be enough to advance.
|
Thanks :D I just wasn't sure what the threshold was~
|
A +6 score is very unlikely to go on. A +6 is always vying for the 8th place, and therefore if Sen goes 2-0, he has to hope that no one else hits 7 points, and that whatever the tiebreak used for all the +6s goes in his favor.

Indeed. Stephano is already in with +8 so that only leaves two more spots. Considering Demuslim has +7 already, +6 would need a miracle and some wacky tie breakers.

updated. HuK FF win over Mana and Hero Hasu will be played tonight.
|
Vibe>TLO Strelok>rain sen>axslav hero>hasu

With that Huk advances lol
|
Woah this starting 3 hours early? I guess the Open Tournament Games are up first.
I'm guessing Nightend is forfeiting his game against Puma now that he's sick. What about White-Ra vs Polt?

I feel like the other side of the base is a better place to proxy stuff, especially against a non-Terran. Less chance of buildings being placed closer to the ramp.

From the NASL chat, Puma forfeits to NightEnd for their match.

That was unexpected. Who said that?

Whoever is behind the NASLS3 account today. I keep bugging them about the missing games, and I asked about Nightend being sick he defaults to Puma but apparently it's the other way, guess it was Puma who wanted to delay the game.

Is it explained anywhere how the season system works for NASL?

HA! PYRO!
But seriously, Mr. Bitter droppin' knowledge. Good stuff

Haha, instead of Huk v Mana PvP we have Hero v Hasu PvP yay!! Looking forward to this series still from yesterday lol.

Think I read it wrong. Nevermind.

rain was great in that game, perfect attack.

Kind of poops on the whole 'I have to cheese because it's too laggy to play straight up.'
|
lol, well that was interesting

I do like the new format for Season 3 NASL treating this more like a TV show on ESPN or something with news updates and quick tips. Pretty good. All that needs quite a bit more attention are the wardrobes for the casters!

I was talking about the first game, not the cheeses.

Yes, exactly, so was I.

Vibe wishing he was at bottom left instead of top right (Daybreak) because he's a lefty? Is he just making a joke, or is there some truth to people of different handed-ness preferring one side of a map over the other? Never heard that before.

Two 10 pools from TLO?
THATS THE LIQUID ADVANTAGE
|
sad way for the vibe - tlo series to end. first two games were entertaining. on another note, only 12 relegated each season? seems like 38/50 players retaining a spot is a bit high.
|
I didn't like the execution of TLO in the first game, but in this one he was great. TLO's strategies are pretty good in response to his opponent, but vibe's micro and crisis management was poor in that last game. I think if TLO could improve his execution even just by a bit, he has to get good scores.

I don't know what happened afterwards, but NightEnd was indeed the one who was sick and asked to postpone the game just before it was about to be played.

Is Puma guaranteed to advance? Maybe that's the reason.

Yeah, Puma may not have been available to reschedule soon enough and just gave a WO.

Nightend had to go to the hospital during their scheduled match time, so we postponed it. After setting 3 different match dates for PuMa to play, he failed to show each time. I spoke to EG's manager and we ran out of time, he didn't mind the forfeit loss for PuMa, especially because he was guaranteed 1st place in his group.

What show was gretorp talking about that he liked and then thought it was the stupidest show ever after talking to his film school girlfriend?
|

tonight is not good for the lactose intolerant
proxy rax's, early pools and cannons. oh my.
EDIT: add proxy hatches and moar cannons. lol last game tonight is a PvP. just need the proxy stargate carrier rush to make the night complete.

Haha Gretorp's face when Frodan said "thanks for turning me on".

Did Hero just beat Hasuob's 4gate with 3gate on Taldarim?
|
Yeah. I'm pretty damn confused. I'm wondering if there were some supply-block shenanigans, or if HerO had his gates up earlier?
|
On June 16 2012 11:31 Sein wrote: Did Hero just beat Hasuob's 4gate with 3gate on Taldarim? hero went triple stalker rush and hasu pressed in when hero had unit advantage and lost a zealot and stalker iirc, then hasu hero used the small 10 ft defenders advantage he had to keep his stalker number higher for justa second and got a unit lead while Hasu couldn't afford to warp in because of his weak economy.
