Later he also said that Paranoid had to leave and couldn't continue to play anyway.
It's pretty strange, but I guess it was Paranoid's decision so not match fixing, just a walkover.

That last game was pretty intense.

May it be a good reason to disqualify him ? I'm kinda confused...

Nerchio could have been joking. Don't rule out that possibility, even if that would have been a silly joke.

I do hope he was indeed.

? Really? at what point was that on stream? If so thats kind of crazy.

The very first game, if you look back in the thread someone else called it out before me as well.

I thought he said he got a free win because ParanOid had to leave, but I didn't catch the whole chat as I was frantically surfing through tabs at that moment.

From what he said in chat, Paranoid had the advantage in game but then had to leave, so he decided to forfeit and let Nerchio have the win anyway.

If Paranoid already won the game, Nerchio should have been eliminated and the player he played on the next round should have get a walkover from Paranoid's forfeit. No ?

Edit : However, if Paranoid leaved the game first, Nerchio deserved to advance

Yes. But it's too early to judge though, would have to look at the vod/replay of game 1 vs Bischu and also look at the game vs ParanOid before you make any calls. I pointed it out because for a second I was like "did he really just say that on stream?"

it is match fixing if nerchio and paranoid planned it before. i have the impression that paranoid was winning the game and knew he had to go so he just left. that would make sense why nerchio thanked him.
