I'd love to play, yet I keep thinking that the guy next to me who is actually working on his dissertation might not like that very much. I also figured that playing SC in a library is generally a bad idea. So I'll leave up to the guys who have time. glhf!

Am I just really bad at spotting the pros in the mass of unknowns or are is a disappointingly low number of pros playing in this? I'm missing a lot of big names. It was the same for TSL 3, many of the top pros only started competing halfway through, but with how competitive the scene is now I'd have hoped everyone would take the qualifiers seriously from the start.

Well, most people didn't know much about Thorzain in the qualifiers. Who knows what would have happened if more pros participated

That said, I see quite a few of them just glancing over the list so I'm not sure it's really a low number.

Edit: Here are some of the players I recognize. I might have missed a few and not all top level players but I'd call it a solid turnout for the first one (depending how many show up today). I'm not that familiar with the eu scene either so there might be some hidden gems of the ones I don't know of.

not really w/r/t TSL3, the first qualifier iirc had Thorzain, Naniwa, and Kas in the semifinals.

and hasuobs lost to Ciara in Ro8, otherwise it would have been the same semifinals as the actual tournament.
