The time has come for our next Winners Round 1 match of the IGN Pro League Team Arena Challenge 3!
When: Friday, May 25 11:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also have a European re-broadcast as usual at Saturday, May 26 5:30pm GMT (GMT+00:00))
Format
This double-elimination tournament features 24 teams from around the world and is an All-Kill team format. This match is being played for Winners Round 1. The first team to defeat everyone on the opposing team's roster (5 wins, or a best of 9), will move on in the Winners Bracket, while the loser will drop down into the Losers Bracket. Keep in mind that this has a $20,000 prize pool, and only six teams will make it to the money!

TSL could pull an IM and send a bunch of b-teamers to their death against sleep and mystik (Even then that's unlikely but we can dream I mean QXC did it).

Yikes, why did they send out Sleep first? He's like their ace. I don't think Check Six has much chance left without him.

I remember seeing a game he played against a meching Terran, and his burrowed roach multitasking was truly amazing. However, this was about 9 months ago and the Terran was some minor foreign pro. He's not bad, but many of us haven't seen him play for so long that there is little to judge on.

That was really cool when he spammed all the forcefields on those roaches but the roaches sniped the nexus right on time.

I guess they realised they were pretty much screwed anyway, but they really should have saved their ace in case they get a chance later to put him in in a favourable situation. Getting their ace killed in the beginning seems pretty stupid to me.

On the bright side at least they didn't get murdered by a B-teamer who can't qualify for the GSL.

Honestly someone who consistently gets knocked out in the Ro48 of Code A isn't much better.
Decision to start off with Sleep amazes me but honestly I don't really see anyone on x6's roster that would be able to take a game of TSL to begin with so it doesn't really matter.

x6 sc2 team isnt even that good.. i am pretty sure the worst player on any korean team couldve ACED them.

Why did check six open with their ace, did they really think sleep was going to all kill, unless they did, opening with him was a really bad move, unless someone wants to explain to me why i am wrong (which is totally possible).
