It came from qualifying for the German WCS Tournament. This hasnt been played yet.
Anyway, I think that Socke, HasuObs, TLO, DarkForce and Goody are the favorites here. Which four of the five that qualify will be interesting to see. An upset would be nice as well

He shaved because he qualified in the third qualifier for this after failing in the first two (Don't know how that is an accomplishment worth a beardpoint but whatever, his rules). But that alone should be proof enough that he will have a hard time making top 4 in this tournament.

With free entry isn't there the risk that the venue will be overcrowded? I wouldn't want to travel 400 km to be not allowed in because there is already too many people in there. From what I gathered on the venue page there is just room for barely 1.500 persons.

I've been told that we're not too worried with expected numbers about the 1,500 limit. So, the more the merrier (within reason apparently )

Well, there are four spots, so losing to Socke might not be that big a deal because 4 players are qualifing in total. It depends on the bracket and on the system of course. Which makes me wonder if this will be a double-elemination tournament or not? The fact that it's a 2-day tournament probably means that there is enough time for a losers bracket, but who knows.
My prediction for the top 4 are Socke, Goody, TLO and Hasuobs.

And I don't think Socke will be the only problem for TLO. Look who he lost to in the qualifiers, lol.

I believe the prize pool has been updated to now include 15,000 dollars, up from 10,000! so updated op with info. Will update later tonight with even MORE informationz.
