Man, slept through everything except Nestea v. GanZi. That was fun, great matches, but I missed Squirtle owning his group, and Parting failing to win any matches.
Extremely disapointed with IPL ... instead of castind Stephano x Curious and MKP x Curious.. they casted Nestea(who was 3-0) against Ganzi (who as 0-3)...

Some of the casters have been really terrible. There have been consistent stream issues (lag, black screen etc) Sound has been terrible often (bad volume, mono-stereo not done properly, multiple stream's sounds coming through on one stream) VERY important games haven't been streamed.
So apart from stream issues, video issues, sound issues and games being shown issues, it's been great!
I have had 0 stream issues, and there has been, more, equally as important games all of which were very high quality with 0 lag. Casting is a personal preference, and the obsing has been very very good. The games are the highest level, and just because stephano isnt shown doesnt mean important games arent being shown. From my point of view this tourney has been great.
There are definitely stream problems on IPL's side: just because you weren't watching at those time it doesn't mean it didn't happen. I mean I could be wrong, but if you had no stream problem, can you be so nice to tell us how exactly MC won against Squirtle in their 2nd game?
And for the games, the fact that they're showing Nestea vs Ganzi, when only seeding is on the line, over MKP vs Curiours which determines who advances; or how they didn't show Stephano when everyone wanted to see that.
The Observing is only good cuz they're borrowing GSL's observer (STLegend)
Let's not forget those awkward stage performance, and sound fails (random girl voices popping up for whole 5min DURING a match; caster's mic on during commercials, 2nd stream mic not working the whole day, etc)
You can try as hard as you want to pretend this tourney is good, but it doesn't change the fact that it's really really poorly executed in terms of production.
I didn´t have serious stream problems since IPL4 started. We even get a free 480p/60 stream that runs very well.
If that is not good enough for you, then maybe the problems are on your side. And pay $30 for MLG and be done with it. Don´t even know what there is to talk about. $5 for this and the other events that are included in $5 is more than we can hope for. You like some other people just really lost all your "facts" arguments long ago. I can understand that you can be upset that some games were not shown.
If IPL had asked for $50, yes, maybe we would see perfect execution everywhere, but let´s be real, this is basically a "free" tournament. MLG asks 4-6 times more money and they still are far from perfect. Now, choose which side you are on.
IPL asked for $60 a year, MLG asks for $90 a year and gives WAY more games.
$90? They had 1 Winter Arena, 2 Spring Arenas, probably 2 summer and fall Arenas, which is a total of 7 Arenas at $140 dollars. That's not even counting the premium streams at the championships.
IPL also produces daily content (TAC1, TAC2, TAC3, Fight Club, Tournament of Champions, Ye Olde Map).
Take what you will from it.
Dude, with MLG's current structure you get gold for $30 and then each season for $15. Thats $90.

You obviously don't know about MLG's pricing schedule. MLG is selling the spring season at $30 for everything ($15 for gold members). So every season + gold membership is $15*4 + $30 = 90 dollars for ALL MLG events in HD, 4 streams at every event, online qualifiers, etc etc.
IPL certainly has some good content but not nearly as many live events as MLG. Also if you buy IPL you get..a higher quality stream and no ads thats basically it. MLG gives you more subscriber only events, extra streams at each event, just as high quality, a much much better stream player (seriously quad view is awesome. IPL doesn't even have the ability to click and refocus audio like MLG does).
MLG does all this while still providing an acceptable free experience for all championship events. So we'll let you weigh the $90 vs $60.

Fucking retarded.
It was still a really really good game though, but yeah you have a good point.
Would you all stop looking at the international TLPD for koreans Bomber is 9-8 in GSL against zergs, and 19-11 63% against korean zergs, far from bad, but not top notch either.
