Playhem is happy to announce our involvement in the heated rematch between two giants, Reddit and d2jsp. On Friday March 30th, 2012 at 7pm EST we will be broadcasting the 5v5 KOTH clan-war style showmatch between these two teams. The players for each team volunteered to represent each side and the rosters are included below.
In the first showmatch Reddit went 5-0 against d2jsp with an all-kill from Psy, taking the win. Recently, d2jsp has been seeking revenge and challenged Reddit to a rematch. To make things a bit more interesting, Playhem's put up 50$ to go to the winning team along with bragging rights.
Reddit's Team: Sasquatch jEcho SnixSnipe Lobber AGIANTSMURF Starter:AGIANTSMURF Sasquatch will be making player choices for Team Reddit.
d2jsp's Team: Minigun raine sDsEnvyKiom schnieder lowapmuser Starter:sDsEnvyKiom Rick, a representative of d2jsp, will be making player choices for Team d2jsp.
Now you might be asking yourself, who's casting this event? Reddit provided us with Coffeebreak and d2jsp put up Oracle, and they will be streaming at www.playhem.tv .

I'll be subbing for reddit in-case someone doesn't make it I think. I didn't get to play last time around. God we had a good lineup. Last year's was good times. Hell yeah.
d2jsp is a D2 trading site/community that has evolved into being just a forum for multiple games, etc. I need to remember my old account and try to get some FG off this!

You don't need to spam channels in D2 just to trade and the other person probably didn't have anything good to trade with. It made it easier to find people to trade with. Saves time.
I remember Minigun from d2jsp. He crashed d2 servers to reroll items after a shoddy d2 ladder reset, then raged at people who had disdain for his exploiting. Nice to see his true colours show, so I can wish him all the failure he deserves in sc2. Thankfully, spending 1000's of hours on this game can turn you into a semi-pro.

Even if this is true, minigun is the most manner guy i've ever had the pleasure of knowing. People change, and you have no reason to be spiteful. Q_Q somewhere else guy

Minigun was with them last time as well, when they lost 0-5. Though I think this time they might show a bit better performance, still think Reddit has this one.

Minigun wasn't nearly as good as he is now though, I'm not even sure if he was on ROOT back then?
