MC and DRG and even MMA don't really belong to that list... they've all been seeded to code S because of MLG results with korean competition and they have all been doing well there since then, MMA with 2 major gsl wins, DRG with one, MC smashing his way to round of 8... Idra and Sen were 100% undeserving, Polt is debatable (he belongs there but whether he deserves the seed or not is debatable), Huk simply doesn't deserve it, basically beating oz in his strongest matchup is the only thing he did to "deserve" it. Huk made the round of 8 in GSL, has had numerous top finishes beating numerous top Koreans in the process. He deserved the up and downs. If you didnt notice he almost made it through them too. He didn't and that sucks but I hope he gets through code A now. So Jinro deserves a seed, too? So hongun does and coca does, noblesse does, keen does, clide does, byun does. AND SO ON. Just because Huk reached top8 once does not make him more worthy of a seed than all these players who actually have better overall stats against korean players. In fact, Huk only got that far because his Code A spot was given to him way back. He never ever qualified for GSL the "real" way and since random results (top8...WOW) do not justify seeds, he does not deserve his spot more ( or just as much ) as other players. you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, and you're obviously biased against huk. GSL wants to promote foreigners, huk is the one of the best foreigners with some of the best results (MLG? top 8 Code S? code S multiple seasons? winter arena? Did all of those players you noted win foreign tournaments/ do well in them like HuK does? HuK get's so many seeds compared to, say, noblesse or keen, because he has won 2 MLG's and placed near the top in multiple tournaments not just because of his good results in code S. if you're going to attempt to make an argument while being extremely biased, at least go through the mental effort of trying to hide it. And the fact he is actually already used to Korea is a plus compared to other players not willing to play in SK. I wonder if players like Stephano could actually be given a seed (knowing that he's not really willing to play in SK). I hope he would accept then.

Sen had a code S seed.

Please leave aside the foreigner aspect. I understand it but it does not suit the idea of being a "fair" seed that is deserved. Giving something to someone who because of his race is pretty much the most unfair reason you can have.
What results did Huk have? MLGs. A tournament he could play because of his sponsors and again - the fact that he was a foreigner. If you actually want to tell me, that the players I named would have had worse results than Huk in all the tournaments he entered, then I think we know who is biased.

sorry but i don't think 7 month old gsl results really matter when they consider the seeds. he deserved the seed at a time but he was actually in code s then. the seed is based on recent/relevant performance. and recently his only result was pvping his way to top4 MLG.
also, "deserving the seed" doesn't mean the same as "having the skill to be there". Thorzain for example in my opinion has the skill to be in code A, but he doesn't deserve the seed for his tourny results. Huk has the skill to belong in code A, but his results didn't really back up the seed. also iirc he won 2 pvps in the up/downs.

Why are we talking about Huk?
A pity that Boxer didn't make it, but at least the God of War showed that his play was still top-notch.

Terrans own in best of 1 format. They're simply more resistant against cheese yet capable of executing one themselves. Gom should come up with a different Up and Down systems. Current system is way too messy anyway.

well the fact that not a single opponent decides your fate is good. players could be matched really unluckily if up/down was only 1 player vs another.
i also agree that terrans have advantages in this format. so, the only possible solution i can think of would be this changed to best of 3's. but that will never happen, up/down days would take 8 hours.
so i guess we have to be happy with the current system
