The time has come for our only Losers Round 5 match of the IGN Pro League Team Arena Challenge 2!
When: Wednesday, Mar 07 1:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also have a European re-broadcast as usual at Wednesday, Mar 07 5:30pm GMT (GMT+00:00))
Format
This double-elimination tournament features 16 teams from around the world and is an All-Kill team format. This match is being played for Losers Round 5. The first team to defeat everyone on the opposing team's roster (5 wins, or a best of 9), will move on in the Losers Bracket, while the loser will be eliminated from the tournament entirely. Keep in mind that this has a $20,000 prize pool, and only six teams will make it to the money!

Better than that: Oz proxied 2 robos and started to build an observer out of the one that was found. He also surrounded his robo with stalkers and did his best to convince San that that was his only detection. Then after San killed the powering pylon, he built his observer out of his other robo and San didn't find the second robo until the observer came out.

I agree. Gumi is the best chance for FXO to make a strong run against NSHS. Hoseo has been typically weak vs Terran in the team leagues: all killed by Bomber, Marineking, and Gumiho. Gumiho is going to need to get several kills to get FXO back in this

I wouldn't say that. Sage's, San's, Seal's, Sting's vTs are not quite bad; they are just mostly Code B/A level players, and there is not much to be done about it.

If you count depth as the number of players in GSL, then FXO has more depth than hoseo

San is the same way though. He's pretty solid against Zerg and Terran even though he's not in GSL right now but is like 30% vs P so they figured it was a free win for Oz just to get San out of the way

Yes but you don't need to send out your PvP sniper for San, use someone else. The key is "pretty solid", whereas there is a 50+% chance that Sage will go on an absolute tear against you if you don't throw a PvP at him right away. Whatever you do you gotta save a PvP for Sage or else you deserve to lose.

Historically, Sage's PvP has been mostly underestimated because of his tendency to go for what is essentially eco-cheese in the current metagame. When he plays standard he's not that bad, e.g. his match against Oz (a very good PvPer) in Code A was quite close.
Granted, it's still his worse matchup and he's not good at it, but people keep marching on how "terrible" it are a bit too harsh and hear-saying in my opinion.
