Yet again I tune into a tournament that is a 50/50 ZvT endgame on Daybreak with Mech vs Broodlords.
Spent some time figuring if this was some sort of rebroadcast... lol

I was sure ret would win after he was building up that gigantic army but then the battles started and Ret is just controlling horribly while Gumiho is outplaying him all the way.
I feel like this is classic ret - superb macro, poor micro and army control. He managed to kind of win that battle though so now I wonder what gumiho is going to do about it.
BY THE WAY in the Ghost nerf thread I said that people would start using Ravens because both HSM and PDD are good vs BL/Corruptor and ha! I was correct again!

Weird build from Gumiho cause he also got an armory. Now he's getting +1 vehicle weapons and pumping out 4 hellions at a time. This build makes me nervous for Ret.
Gumiho getting a third cc, Ret getting +1/+1, bane nest, and then a spire. Ret's third is up, Gumiho's third cc is complete. +1 weapons is done for Gumiho and he almost has blueflame. He made 2 vikings, which is funny. Pumping out Thors now. Bane speed finishing for Ret and he's making a lot of mutas. Gumiho making three more factories and getting a raven... Gumiho has his third, Ret is getting a fourth and a roach warren. Ret is upgrading +2/+2 and getting an infestation pit. At ~12:40 the supplies are even at 127 each. Ret getting a pretty quick Hive and kills a lot of scvs with banes by attacking Gumiho's third! ~14:20 Gumiho getting two more ccs. Ret is up 190 to 160 supply. Ret's roaches kill a lot of hellions! Oh fuck. Ret's roaches just plow through a ton of tanks and thors at Gumiho's third. Ret's greater spire almost done and he is up 140 supply to 120. Seems like Ret is in his element. Gumiho isn't playing the brutal attack everywhere style that we normally see from him. Ret getting a ton of broods, pathogen glands, +3/+3. Gumiho doesn't have very many vikings. Ret sometimes fucks up his late game control but I think he can do this. ~20:00 Ret kills Gumiho's fourth with broods. Up 200 supply to 150. Ret has a lot of bases but Gumiho has built up a very scary army. He has several ravens so he might be able to take out those broods with his vikings =/ Ret attacks again and doesn't trade well, Gumiho manages to tie up the supplies T_T Nice ling runbys by Ret. Gumiho making some serious command centers, throwing down several starports and a fusion core.. Ret donates all of his infestors to Gumiho but Gumiho donates a bunch of tanks. Ret is going all air? Sick fungal by Ret, really cutting into the viking count. Gumiho suicides a bunch of tanks and thors into Ret's main. Funky game.

edit idk...not looking so hot for Ret anymore. Gumiho has a fuckton of vikings, Ret has no greater spire. What a weird game. All Ret's broods are dead.
