After one or two lose from oGs to the Prime first player, VINES will take down two players with fucking weird play. Then, Maru will tie the score at 2-2... Fin will beat Maru with a timing attack, bringing the score to 3-2 for oGs...
Creator will then come out, bringing down Fin with him. But, InCa will shut down creator and MKP, winning it 5-3 for oGs.
CALLING IT!
(Actually, Prime will win this, probably 5-2 or 5-3.)

The best part is where Prime puts MKP out twice without anyone complaining, since he's such a big fan favorite!

5-2 to prime sounds about right.
I know right? lol
Misstyped Maru for MKP :x Edited! NOW MY PREDICTION IS PERFECT THANKS TO YOU!
Prime is so strong at the moment. MKP/Creator/Maru/Bboongbboong/Byun are all top class players that have been performing extremely well in team leagues lately, whereas oGs' aces like Supernova and ForGG tend to be very inconsistent. I think Prime has a very high chance to win this, but if Vines can pull off some epic kills like in recent matches, then oGs might still take the match.
5-3 for Prime or 5-4 for oGs would be ideal scores
There is going to be a whole lot of TvT in this match up me thinks.
I voted that Prime is going to win, but I am rooting for OGS. Prime is a little bit more spread out in its talent ( Read: Stronger IMBA-Protoss) right now. I'd expect them to win by 2+ games.
Vines seem to be doing pretty well in team league, but hes a protoss and MKP is pretty strong against protoss lately. on the other hands, I can see Maru takes down guys like Supernova, Forgg, and Stc like he did vs ST. so 5-3 for Prime.
I think if Classic fails Prime might send out Bboongbboong since his ZvT is very good (he's very good all around) and TheStC even though he's very good, I feel his TvZ is a bit shaky.
A counterattack from Classic punishes TheSTC's banshee/tank/marine/bunker seige of his expansion -- expos are traded, but TheSTC also loses SCVs and production in main for the loss.
1 base Blink Stalker for a longtime with a transition into dark templar was not enough to break Fin. After some early marines, a gradual buildup of Marauders crushes through everything Classic has to offer.

Can't let Protoss create a deathball, the same way you can't let Zerg mass expand all over the map.
yea, but he went more more macro oriented than anyone i've ever seen and still couldn't go into the late game stronger b/c Vines got to death ball. More and more pvt's i see are just protoss going heavy macro to get to late game so they can have a big battle and then replenish faster and roll them.
If you can't beat this by being THAT greedy economically, i guess that shows why all terran does is 1 1 1 or other early/mid attack
MKP! I don't see many players left that could take out mkp, maybe vines, maybe top, and supernova. If MKP wins, the best OGS players are all terran, and prime still has Creator's PvT.
Going to be hard for oGs, most of their big names are down, and MKP / Creator are still to be killed. Supernova might be able to kill MKP, but then Creator PvT can clean the rest of oGs line up.

I did not pay very close attention to that game, as I was multitasking between various other tasks, but it seemed like that Maru was extremely greedy, and neglected upgrades and tech a bit. His early OC was forced to lift off rather than allow to mine, so he basically spent 550 minerals early to float an OC back to his base. But I am not a pro, so I don't have expert analysis, but that was my general impression.
Vines was totally baiting MKP to pick up and leave so that he could land that blink. Very cool. Overall I'm not sure that engagement was bad for MKP though.

Yup mkp messed up when going for third base. He should have went home but chose to fight and lost his whole army. It's pretty standard seeing mkp lose a TvP due to col and lack of vikings though.
Outside of not being prepared for the DTs, that was a great game from Creator. Never actually seen a probe pull to kill 4-gate pylons before, that was such a perfect reaction. He's quickly becoming my favorite Protoss.
I agree, he clearly has some skill. What if Liquid had picked up Vines instead of Hero and given him the same opportunities, I wonder if he would have been as successful if not more. A lot of potential in Korea for sure
you IPL 4 commercial is too quiet, could barely hear it. just want you to know!
awsome game, why didn't creator push earlier? i think if he pushes straight up the middle he has a really good chance to trap those blink stalkers when they counter. trap them in the natural, FF the ramp so they can't run into your main and blink down the cliff to run away.
God Creator is such a saving grace for Prime. I thought they were screwed for sure when Polt left for TSL but this kid has stepped up and played so well for them
but as soon as I say this and tune into the stream he gets Inca PvP lol
I'm afraid for oGs. The snipe on MKP was a gift for them to win it, but then they can't beat Creator in his weakest match up 2 games in a row. One by a PvP sniper.

At least I think Supvernova's best match up is vP so this should be good

Statistically it's his best but he's been really inconsistent vs P lately. Should be a close game depending on how Supernova plays
Well I din't really liked Inca stuff, blink seems just not that cool when you don't have an observer to try to snipe some buildings. And with an observer you can do some dt magic if you have gone blink (HuK style). It's always frustrating to see someone doing a build loosing to the textbook opening.

His TvP stats got this high by 1/1/1 a ton of games actually.

Keeping him hidden like Creator so people can't prepare for him. He came out against Liquid I think in the last game but other than that he's just waiting to come out and destroy the GSTL
Supernova is letting TvP metagame get to his head. He keeps thinking protoss is impossible so he does these silly non-sensical marine tank pushes that are too late to work. i've seen his stream and his standard TvP is definitely good enough to play vs creator
I've seen some really cute uses of tanks offensively in TvP but I really don't think that they have much worth as a defensive unit vs protoss...SuperNova was pretty done when Creator destroyed that push.
lol Supernova reminded me of the Schaaarffff days of GSL Code A there. Randomly holding the middle of the map for no reason and getting stomped as a result.

Creator didn't play that well against NaDa. He was a bit nervous. But this kid PvT when he's feeling good is invisible. Everytime i watch him play, i know he will win if he get a third base. His army composition is always so good, he rolls over terran like nothing.
Well TvP is kinda a shitty matchup right now, P win win way too much in the late game, looks that in GSL the terran wins are nearly always before the protoss tech kicks in... The flank was really nice, but deathball clash is not exciting, it's always sad to see someone loose 100 supply while the other loose like 30 -_-.

I'm not normally a Prime fan but it's hard not to cheer for them after a game like that.
Prime finds a way to get it done match after match. I always think they're a 2 man team with some help from up-and-comer Maru, but they always get the 5-4!

Yeah I noticed that to. It wasn't even close at all. Creator lost like 10-15 units where supernova lost like 70. Very discouraging but he didn't have that many ghosts. But then again creator didn't have much that required EMP. 2-3 archons (?) and mostly zealot.

Prime is fairly reliant on BboongBbong, MarineKing, Creator and Byun, although they've never actually used Byun. Funny how classic is always their opener haha

I need to watch the replay to see how vines did.
I think it was actually pretty close engagement. The supply after the battle was about 120ish for terran and 130ish for protoss, but 10sec later with zealots warpins protoss was at 150ish. So trading army wise it was about even, the problem was how much better Protoss (and Zerg too for that matter) are at remaxing.

Bbong hasn't been doing much in team leagues lately. And how can they be reliant on Byun if they never use him! lol
Maru looks really promising though. They're gonna need him if they want to go to Vegas for GSTL

That's invincible. Unless you're talking about Inca in which that adjective is correct.

I'm really waiting for him to just do well in Code S... he has been showing how incredibly strong he is time and time again.
His style is too predictable for Code S. He will always go (in PvT) for economic cheese and will almost never all-in/cheese, so his opponent can play as greedy as he wants (see NaDa vs Creator) and expect not to be punished at all. It also allows the Terran to prepare some timings that would work great against his style (Nada/Creator 2nd game).

O_O that's hard to believe but that's a ridiculous statistic if it's true. I guess if anyone would have a winrate like that it would be genius lol.
I'm not sure who it is but I think it's Genius. It's only GSL that does show that statistic from time to time, and one Protoss in particular has 100% winrate at 200/200.

Yes it was Genius. The stat came up in the Genius vs aLive game when they were both maxed. Gom put up the stat and it was like Genius (8-0) when 200/200 pop vs aLive (7-1) when 200/200 and then Genius proceeded to win

You didn't watch his series against Polt, where he showed, that he is capable of doing every timing attack he wants. He also showed in the KSL, that he can execute every standard allin/timing that exists for protoss, if needed. He might be more known for his macro games, because, he knows, that playing macro is much safer. With timing attacks/allins you allways risk to get a build order lose. This kid is pretty smart, if he doesn't collapse under pressure, he normally chooses his builds very well.
Lol funnily only protoss can bring kills in teamleagues. It's a bit annoying for viewing purposes but I guess as long as it's Creator winning and not VINES I'm fine with only protoss kills. About Creator, he is not predictable or anything. The only reason he is not doing as good in individual leagues is because he is so young and lack experience, he can probably not play his best especially against BW legends such as NaDa. In six months he'll kick asses in individual leagues, or even right after Prime wins the GSTL @Las Vegas edit : I'm always glad when I see Prime winning with Creator kicking ass to remember that I started my thread on Prime winning GSTL almost solely to hype Creator who was not recognized enough 8)
