They are just solid.
No they're not the strongest yet. Both SlayerS and MVP are stronger.

I would say that Byun is a major player for Prime, considering that they used him as Ace against Liquid and MKP mentioned in a post-GSTL interview that he felt comfortable playing because he knew Byun would be deployed after him.

This still makes him Marineking's backup, because of mkp is prime's #1 terran.
If there's one thing that has hurt Prime in the past it is their lack of a strong Protoss lineup. Creator is their protoss lineup while Startale has Squirtle, Ace, and Parting. If MarineKing doesn't go HAM tonight I would have to favor Startale.
Marineking is over 80% TvP and TvT this year, and if he can take out ST zergs prime has this EZPZ. Speaking of which, Prime should develop a bunch of vZ snipers so MKP can take out all the T and P for them.
I want Startale to win, but Prime has been looking so strong lately. After Maru demolished them earlier this month, I hope Startale is out for blood this time.

I think the only possible choice for Tiger would have been to sack the nexus, save the probe and get more stalkers and zealots. Aside from that MKP play was pretty good.
Wow it's just insane how good MKP is atm.... I know he's been good for a long time but right now he's showing some reaaaaaally promising play. His micro is astounding!
MarineKing's micro has always been the best. I can't believe the level of incredible he can maintain his control above the competition after all this time.

Not much to learn from this game. If your opponent tries to quickly expand and quickly tech, do as Day9 advises you to and "just fucking kill him" because his army wont be as strong.

Yeah. Was more talking about MKP's play in general.
Here's just an example of " i push when i have medivac, stim combat shield and +1 attack" than end up with " oh i can just win now" moment.

ye but it would work, if parting didnt decide to move out, lose 2 sentry and 5 FF energy, while teching and waiting for colo.
Fucking kill steal bro. What's wrong with you SCV?
Edit: sorry for the double post. I'm too used to GSL Live Threads where someone will comment right after your first post, giving you time to respond as things go along.
MKP on a tear ever since he got knocked to code A. He is right back into being the team league monster he used to be. Makes me proud to be his father :')
I found this map pretty zerg favored from the game i saw on it. If zerg get the 3 gas expand, with the rich vespene, zerg get SO MUCH gas, it's crazy. They can make so much gas stuff.
DOA has no clue what hes talking about... don't provide analysis on ultras if you're only in Silver League. Sorry for this kind of caster bashing but it really disappoints me to talk about ultras and saying "they're worse than brood lords in every case no matter what" when july just amoved them into a planetary with siege line and no infestor or ling support.
July can't play the late game at all. Doa needs to stop talking about how much better Broodlords would've been, as if MarineKing couldn't run circles around that type of army with a bio-heavy comp.
I don't get sometimes how these Korean terran make dealing with Ultra look so easy tho. Everytime i play against Ultra play, i always lose on the heavy Ultra push where they are 3-3 while i'm still 2-2. And damn Ultra don't die in these scenario.
On February 29 2012 11:47 LittLeD wrote: "I only go ultras if Im far ahead and wants to lose"
^Quote applies?
It was more of a bad engagement from July and good reinforcements/micro for MKP. July didn't used infested terrans to tank up damage, used only one or 2 fungals and didn't had enough lings to support that army.

I thought it was only a reverse all kill if you were the ace for your own team? He's only the 3rd player for Prime
Isn't he ace? I'm watching at lowest resolution because I work on a frickin isolated mountain with terrible internet and everything is blurry T_T
He`s the best player, but often gets in early (especially when the team is down), because he doesnt like too much pressure. Often he outright kills the opponent then.
If MKP just mixed in some Banshees I feel like he would've won so easy, since there were so many battles when Bomber didn't have any marines left TT_TT
Cannot BELIEVE mkp lost that one... It's like what happened against Drewbie in Providence (or Orlando, one of those). Either way, I expect creator next
Note that when MKP was pushing into Bomber's base denying his natural, Bomber had a fully saturated third. Bomber was never remotely as behind as the casters made it out to be. MKP's supply advantage was from the tanks, but since his 2-base mech aggression was somewhat all-innish Bomber just waited until he had enough marauders to wipe out the tanks then played it out from a equal or slightly advantageous position.

That push looked eerily similar to what Polt did to MMA in their Ro16 match.

Yes, but I think that MKP could have wiped Bomber's third base while his natural was down hadn't he thrown away all those vikings. When the (red and unrepaired) banshee came in, Bomber had no anti-air but a couple of marines who were dropped in by medivacs. This saved his economy, but it wouldn't have happened without that landing, I reckon.

GhostKing is ByuN. I expect ByuN to ace for Prime if it gets that far, because I don't really know anyone else on their roster that can take Bomber, and we can't forget what ByuN did to Bomber before :D

Maru? He has been doing well in team leagues, recently.

I think MKP mentioned that Byun was supposed to play in the GSTL vs NSHs if he hadn't all killed. If I remember right.

Oh yeah I forgot about Maru, and he did AK ST. Iono if Maru can handle that pressure yet though, he's still so young and has up until very recently been kind of a choker and very inconsistent.

And maru. If i recall i think he all killed a team in the KSL league (could be wrong).
Maru all-killed StarTale in the KSL in a BO11. Taking down Virus, Curious, Sound, Tiger, Bomber & Hack. Also took down mouz.MorroW & IM.Happy in Code A.

IPL tends to have their VODs uploaded pretty quickly. You should be able to find the match-up on the ign channel by now.

i agree.
however, the time is not good for european audience imo.
1. i watched until about 02:00 when i was literally incapable of staying awake.
2. rebroadcast is not good... i cba sitting through 3 hours of non-live starcraft just to find the winner, when you can find the winner and details in the LR.
