I've been in pretty stressful situations with exams and stuff, and friendly interaction of any kind at all makes you sooooo much happier/less stressed. But passing an exam isn't exactly your biggest dream in life and exams don't give you money nor fame ![]()

At least do an allin with a strong hard counter, and let your opponent know what you are going for beforehand (6gate vs burrowed roaches for example).

I lost out on getting the highest average percentage in the year (which gives you a Dux medal and some money) by 0.6% in our school. I and the guy who beat me exchanged taunts and BM the whole time, and that honestly made me feel so much better, and he said the same - when he lost, it made him laugh. Especially if you are full of nervous tension, releasing that by smiling/laughing makes me feel a lot better. I can't speak for everyone, though. Maybe Genius works differently.

If he wouldn't have joined MVP he would have traded his pro-gaming career for his education. I know this. But in this specific context of the finals, that "interaction" can mess with a player's mind. It's just not sportsmanlike IMO. But let's drop this.
