I can't believe JYP won, more shockingly, DIMAGA lost. Oh well. Good job JYP. I guess. Every player has a bad day I suppose. This was as shockingly, if not more, as when Gumiho upset Mvp. It's one of those times when a lesser skilled player figures something out (kinda like San way back when) and beats a player that out classes him. All good though, it's part of the game

JYP vs. Dimaga all time is a score of 7-4. Hes won 2 series over dimaga (bo5 and a bo7) while dimaga has won 1 (best of 3).

What is it about JYP that convinces you that hes a lesser skilled player? San abusing the amulet was only against terran - not a solid example or comparison at all.

Dimaga is pretty darn good but you make it sound as if hes miles ahead of JYP. I was personally expecting a shitclose series and to learn from dimaga's ZvP and it looks like the majority of TL was also expecting a close match (example: the poll in the OP.)

Personally, I didn't expect this to be a close match at all. Let's face it, Dimaga's ZvP is easily his worst matchup (he just got 5-0'ed by Hero in the IPL Fight Club just a couple weeks ago), and JYP is a super solid Protoss with very strong PvZ. Of course I like Dimaga, but I think he seriously needs to improve his ZvP now, or he could hardly go far in any tournaments in the future, especially those with Korean Protosses.

Even if DIMIGA's worse matchup is vP, he is still miles ahead of JYP in terms of skill. It's like how Mvp's worse matchup is TvP and he still made HuK look like a fool in a series. And HuK is a PvT beast. In all honesty, not statistics, DIMAGA should have won 4-0. Off day I guess.
If I tell you the truth you'll vie for a lie. If I spilt my guts, it would make a mess we can't clean up. Say you'll never leave me 'cause I need you so much. I can't live with myself so stay with me tonight.

I'm quite curious just what leads you to think that "DIMAGA is still miles ahead of JYP in terms of skill".

You say all these things and don't give any information as to why Dimaga is the better player and should have won 4-0. What about his play that counters JYP's play? Seriously? There's no should have won, especially with a ridiculous 4-0 claim, there are just results and what happened. You could say he should have won that particular game or he should have won this particular game since he was so ahead, but you can't say that for the entire series + Show Spoiler +
when it went 4-1.

All I see here is dumb fanboyism.

Dimaga is a great player, but the way you make him out is quite insulting to JYP who's good enough to have taken games off of DRG even.

I smell a fanboy... JYP is a very good Korean player in two matchups, one of them vZ. A very good Korean is better than even the best Foreigners more often then not lately. Trying to claim Dimaga is way better than any of the good Koreans is crazy.

You're being so biased it's ridiculous. JYP's PvZ winrate is 63.4% in KOREA while Dimaga's ZvP is 56% in foreigner tourny. JYP is MILES ahead at least in PvZ, and I'm quite sure he's better in the other two matchups as well. In terms of skill JYP is mid-high Code A player which means he's better than almost all foreigners.

are you serious or just a very good troll?
i mean, come on, the last time they met on a lan, jyp also won 3:1.
and his JYPs pvz is by far his most solid matchup.

Meh, I'd ignore Brootalbro.

+ Show Spoiler +
I was first suspicious when he made his blatantly loaded "Yay, the more skilled players won" remark in the FXO vs. Mouz thread, conveniently ignoring the fact that Mouz's win is yet another example of foreigners pulling off an upset in cross-server play (while Korean vs Foreigners in LAN play remains an almost completely Korean-dominated affair, which, I'd like to add, heavily implies that cross-server lag is in the foreigner's favor). Not that Mouz is bad or anything - they're easily the strongest foreigner team alongside Empire IMO, but, again, how many times have we seen foreigners beat Koreans in cross-server tournaments, saw the fanfare, the claims of foreigners having "superior skill", only to see Koreans again dominate foreigners in non-cross server, lag-less environments?

Anyway, his ridiculous assessment that Dimaga is "miles ahead of JYP in terms of skill" confirms my suspicion: He's just a blind foreigner fanboy through and through.
