Just by playing Protoss you got a 50% chance to make it to Ro8. :-) I agree, it is mainly because PvT late game is a bit silly at the moment and PvZ has so many different rushes that require exact responses but could be only slightly different builds. Also warp gates are pretty nice.

Am I the only one to notice that no Terran has yet to win against a Protoss once both reach late game in the GSL?
I guess, grats to Genius, probably shouldn't have doubted him so early, but man, seeing MKP like that breaks my heart, I wish he'll win GSL once day.

Oh come on, replying to yourself? You must be trolling...
If you by chance isn't trolling, maybe you want to account for all the mirror matches in that statistic. Even then it's far too few matchups to be relevant (talking balance).

Just some fun facts about the last GSL.
Protoss' who started in GSL Code S and won the finals: 0/5 (0%) # of Jjakji's who started in GSL Code S and won the finals: 1/1 (100%) Zergs who started in GSL Code S and won the finals: 0/8 (0%)
Just by being Jjakji you got a 100% chance of winning a GSL. :-)

"Fun" Stats: Zerg is 2-9 vs Protoss this season and the only two Protosses who lost were Inca and Huk.
But I'm hoping!!! I wonder how each of those sets played out, because even Nestea played like crap But overall, these games were pretty epic ^^
Yeah, haven't seen all the games but some of the ones I saw definitely had some flaws in em.
That being said...Amazing games today! These guys really show their code S material! I won't forget that ridiculous DRG vs Nestea ZvZ <3

Yeah I know, its the only reason there are ANY terrans in Ro8 at the moment - if it were all PvTs in Ro32 / 16 we would be watching only PvP from here on out.

That was a hugely clutch effort from Genius after going down to MKP in the first match and then needing to first beat nestea in bo3 and then needing to beat MKP in a rematch. Genius doesn't get anywhere near the amount of credit he deserves I reckon. Also DRG v Parting is going to be soooooo epic. That's the matchup I'm looking forward to the most. Its funny but I reckon if DRG can get past Parting I reckon he can take down the whole thing even if he is the only zerg left alive.
I reckon it might be tough for the remaining terrans for the first time ever, pretty much every other player remaining are massive t killers and the best TvP'ers are already out (MVP and JJakji and maybe MKP). DRG/Parting/MC/Genius/Puzzle are all great against Terrans right now. I could see a PvP or PvZ final but then again this far out I'm probably way off.

FML. It's the only finals we've never had. Can't be worse than Nestea vs Losira
Unless you meant mirror finals, I think Nestea vs Inca was far worse.

Statistical relevance of a half GSL tournament: >1%. Just some fun fact about statistics.
And that by no means means that I think that everything is fine in SC2s balancing

You're essentially saying "the player I thought was going to win lost, so either the game or the maps must be imbalanced. I don't know which, and I'm not going to attempt to figure out which (or even if my assumption is true), I'm just going to throw it out there as a rationalisation."

MMA.
In fact, he lost to immortal bust twice and a proxy 2gate. So he was 4-1 when it went to late against Protoss in his ro16 group.

I thought TL didn't let people use alt accounts? Odd, since it actually seems like he really intended to log onto a different account given the context of his post...
