Portuguese and Romanian both originated from Latin afaik, so that might be part of the reason

Since there's a small break, are there any fans of Ivo Holanda (actor from Brazil) in this thread?

I remember encoding like this with an overclocked i7 and the CPU crash. Would be embarrassing if it happens here

Supernova! <3

Another Korean taking IEM.

Given that there's only 3 Protoss here, and one of them very likely to get bounced from the groups, I think Nova's chances of winning this are better than MMA's at Kiev.

Bombing out to Puzzle and Oz probably didn't instill too much confidence in his TvP, and I'm sure that 0-2 loss to Titan is still on his mind. I don't know much about Real, but if Feast plays like he did against MMA in Kiev, Nova might have some problems.

lol I don't think Supernova will have many problems if Feast plays at that level.

Feast should have won that game on Metal if there weren't any golds. Granted, MMA did a horrible 111 push in the first game, but honestly, I don't think Nova's TvP is much better than MMA's (at Kiev), if at all.

The difference is Supernova's TvP doesn't hold up to scrutiny...in Korea. And Feast didn't play that well. He was just very aggressive in the midgame, something we usually don't see in European PvT, and MMA did questionable builds. 2 rax cross-positions on Metal? Uhhhh...

He beat MC in the group 2-0 and has a 60% win rate overall. He is very unlikely to lose to a Protoss. Especially as it's likely to be a best of five unless he plays one next round.

Feast didn't play well, and he still gave MMA trouble. That's the point. Supernova's TvP doesn't hold up to scrutiny anywhere - look at his loss to Titan.

MMA did ill-advised builds in the first two games. Feast couldn't hold a candle to him once MMA decided to play more macro-oriented. Call me skeptical. I don't believe Supernova will be in trouble unless he does the same thing and gets too flashy.

Not to mention MMA's TvP is still a sloppy, sloppy matchup for him.

Someone from intel is showing off all the great things you can do with an intel product at the intel extreme masters

and since it's in brazil he's doing it in portuguese

at least... that's what i assume is happening given my atrocious language skills...

is there not a separate stream for portugese speakers?

I guess I'm confused as to how this is effective advertising for English speakers who are most likely just going to get confused as hell and turn off the stream

Look at the number of games and the dates played. 25 games is not a significant sample size, especially with the span of time in between the games. Recent results is always preferable, and while Nova's TvP was okay in the KSL and the GSTL, it was never impressive in the least.

Also, games between teammates (at the time) are always funky.

Edit: Not to mention MC just got back from HSC, and Nova won 2-1, not 2-0.

He was showcasing adobe products working with i7 extreme... just saying things like "look how fast this is... with i7 this kind of thing is possible".
