Pssh, only 5? That's some low self-esteem there...
|
Kawaii has the most underrated foreign TvZ, I'd say hes heavily favored
|
mOOnGLaDe was looking pretty sharp when he was playing in ACL the other day, so I think he's got this, will definitely tune in
|
Love the Rum Table. Haven't seen either players in a while, will be nice to see whether KR has improved.

mOOnGLaDe is a fucking monster of a player. He's first in my sig for a reason.

gogo GlaDe, do it for SEA!

Kawaii got this easy.
Moonglade is good, but vs KawaiiRice in his (imo) best matchup? No chance, son.
|
Has moonglade won anything recently?
|
Rooting for Kawaii Here. His TvZ is definitely top 3 outside of korea.
|
|
For me, this is one of those 'too close to call' things. Both players are incredibly good and favorites of mine.
|
KawaiiRice is incredibly good, I see him taking this in dominating fashion.
|
I'd say Kawaii got this, because GLaDe is such an anomaly, while Kawaii has constantly proven that his TvZ is amazing.
|
glade will make mutas and win. sorry for spoilers
|
I think kawaii will win this easily ^^.

Glade and Kawaii are both highly underrated players. Heck, Glade constantly shows good results, yet people still underrate him (WCG, IEM Cologne). Last series losses against T were MVP and MKP (was a close series, he could've taken it).
|
If he's been practicing, mOOnGLaDe takes this ezpz. If not...things get a bit shady.
In any case, thanks for picking a SEA player for this showmatch, It's Gosu. Always awesome when we get to see SEA players vs international players.

moonglade wins either way because he brings the bitches to the yard.

As a fellow Australian, it is my duty to support Andy. Go GLADE!
|
KR has decent TvZ, and hopefully is more well practiced than MoonGlade. KR to win.
|
BAD.mOOnGLaDe 3-1 comfortably, KR wins one game with a nice timing but thats it
Gogogogo GLADE!!!

Anyways I voted you to win, you definitely get this in the bag but moonglade won't go down easily.
|
my hats of to both players may the best man win!!!
|
Anxious to see Moonglade come out of hiding!
|
haha, its fun to see a how many posts for Moonglade were from Australia.
Its an interesting match up, both very underrated players, not many great results from either but definitely players you never count out I would say in any match. Rooting for KR though! gogo!

Go GLADE, all Uruguayans are behind you!

Looks like moonglade won't actually be playing this week as he'll be in Japan for 2 weeks. Hopefully it still takes place after.

As someone who's relatively active in the SEA scene, I can say that winning everything in SEA doesn't really say all that much for a pro player
|
|
Well... how is this light version of kawaiirice compared to the regular kawaiirice skill wise?
|
think glade played kawaii before and beat him... glhf both!
|
|
Haven't seen Moonglade play in a while, but unless his skill level has dropped dramatically I think he is favored to win here.

We are making a change in players, we will have Moonglade on the show in a few weeks though, he deffinitly wants to take part. I will post the replacement as soon as I confirm, I am looking to find a SEA replacement as well!

kawaii ezpz imho

Go Chinese people, Japanese people, every people.

To fill in for moonglade were bringing in GoSuTgun, this way its another SEA player, and the same matchup for Kawaii. :D Gl hf!

mOOnGLaDe's pretty much a beast, so I can't see him losing this. Can't wait to watch.
EDIT: Waitwait, no moonglade? D: Ahhh well, still tuning in.

And he took second in a playhem the other day.

KawaiiLight is looking like he's going to take this way easier than I thought. Playing well and zerg is behind again.

TGun smashing face right now.

As far as I can tell, they are both winning/may have already won.

tgun doing this delayed gas has so many weaknesses that kawaii really exploited this game thank god. Has so many ways to abuse glad to see kawaii adapting to it what a baws.

Hardly over yet blade, tgun is playing like a boss.

not over but imagine if he didn't start out behind the past 2 games. He would probably win more convincingly right now he starts off behind which is never good to start off as. Kawaii should have won this game but he's making some mistakes now tgun should win this but if he didn't start off so behind he might win 3-0 over kawaii.
|
tgun outplaying KawaiiRice.
tgun wins 3-0.

Who has he recently dismantled, and in what tournaments (don't give me ladder)? I'm honestly curious.
I'm only asking because tgun, while a very good player, has never even been suggested as a top foreigner Zerg, let alone been compared to a top Korean Zerg... so I'm wondering in which tournaments Kawaii has dismantled Nestea, DRG, Losira, and Leenock countless times. I must have missed them, so I'd appreciate it if you could point them out to me. Thanks!
By the way, your post is extremely defensive.
And on a different note... was the final score actually tgun 3-0ing Kawaii? That's what it kind of looks like from the thread, but the OP never updated anything (new opponent, final results, etc.) and I'm curious at the outcome. Thanks
EDIT: http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-international/players/1253_KawaiiRice According to TLPD, he has absolutely no accomplishments (besides winning a 1v1 showmatch) since last September... where he got second place in an 8-man Craft Cup (#49). Come on now -.-' Surely he deserves respect as a person and he's a good player, but I think you went a little over the top there, ReachTheSky. He has very few achievements as a pro-gamer (half of which, on the list, are ~4 player cups). Hopefully he'll get more in the future though.

while true, KR is a fairly decent player who hasn't been overhyped, IMO. he deserves respect as a top NA terran, even if you don't regard that as a good accomplishment.
