I don't know what the available information is but in the OP, the Liquipedia page linked in the OP or on GOMTV there's nothing that says that there will be no brackets.

Pheonix burrows his infestors and pokes the front with lings. Ace is trying to grab his third. drones sent to Pheonix's third. infested terran JESUS infested terran the the Ace's natural. Storms go down and kill everything. Lings hitting Ace's third but are met with cannons achons on the field now and a bunch of infested terrans are able to deter Ace's push, no observer on the field.

Infested terran at Ace's third, kill a few probes but are met by the protoss army. Pheonix seems to be going mass infestor aagainst Ace's stalker/archon/storm army.

Choboo, and everyone else who just has to ask it over again; since 1 and a half years, there were never public brackets in the GSL quali, except for Open Season 1 in August 2010.

Pheonix seems a little shacken, 4 guys on gas twice and 2 gysers with only 1 guy mining. Just now starting his second round of upgrades, curses under his breath. Hive finished and ultra cavern going down. protoss is pushing 131/168 doesn't look like enough to hold. ultra caven finished but protoss contross half the map. pheonix scout see the cavern and Ace is grabbing a fourth.

I wonder if Ace will get some Immortals or just stick to killing the ultras with what he's got, adding a few zealots to tank.

Pheonix is mineral starved and has 14 infestors, protoss poking the second, 5 ultras in production, tosses down 20 infested terran, dters the push. Protoss attacking the natural now. 4 collossus, and 4 archons with a bunch of stalkers. Ace being very patient now. fungal growths doing some work, i can't believe Pheonix is still alive, 6 zealots start cleaning up the spine crawlers but ling reinforcements are able to patch things up, no queens lost. I think Pheonix is in a bad spot.

Does anyone know Phoenix's situation? Like did he go to South Korea to qualify or is he just doing it for fun while hes there over the holidays?
Cause I always thought he was living and practing in Germany.
