Ace is actually good and usually plays straight-up games. I'd much rather see ace play jinro then have jinro face some random allin. Go Jinro!! Ace is actually good? Yeah, so is HongUn, aka the 2 time GSL semi-finalist and most consistent Protoss of 2011 except MC. HongUn is BitByBit playing Protoss. God, I hate that guy. Don't even compare the two. You have no idea what you're talking about and just made yourself look as such. Last comment from me on that matter, don't want to derail the thread. HongUn uses allins more often than not. I know that, I think I've seen every GSL match of him and sometimes he's the only decent Protoss that streams so I'll watch him ladder. You're a fan of him, I get that. I don't understand why, but that's your taste I guess. I don't like him personally and I'm glad he's out. Sorry for you. EDIT: just read some comment stating he macros more than he allins on his stream? Guess I was unlucky then. I watched him just 2 days ago (I think? maybe yesterday) and in the 3 games I saw he double proxy stargated a terran and dt rushed a protoss in two of the three games I saw. Now Ace I really like. Partially because I met him at IEM and he was extremely nice. I think he was doing fotos with fans for more than an hour after he won. Then again, he's playing the greatest guy in sc2 aka Jinro.

Also really cool to see some names I don't recognize in there. Never even heard of Lure and Neel, but results do speak for themselves, and if Neel is on the new TSL..... EDIT: Oh Neel = Symbol! ARGH STICK TO A NAME I think that's just a TLPD'ism, seen him play recently and he's definitely been going under Symbol ^^ On January 05 2012 18:25 RPR_Tempest wrote: On January 05 2012 18:22 zere wrote: next ro4 brackets: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() TOP should requalify based off that. PuMa should get it too. AnnYeong...it could be his time. I kinda like Vampire in that first group, he seemed pretty solid in the KSL recently and I don't think TOP's vP is particularly good. Would be awesome if Sculp could finally make it TT Top best match up (according to himself) has always been vs Protos, in his first GSL CodeS after getting up from Winning Code A he picked a protos and always normally picks protos xD Top fighting ♥♥ That was soooo long ago it is completely irrelevant. People's best matchups change. Top lost 0-3 to Gatored. No its clearly not...Its HIS best match up, he SAYS its his best match up, how is that irrelevant? His vs P has always been solid, when he dropped out of Code A last year to Parting who went on to get Code S comfertably, in epic series of back and forth. He has always been good vs Protos, and he was in foreign country playing vs Gatored, who plays very interesting PvT anyway. He gets mauled in it nowadays because he doesn't have the control to handle lategame. It's not just Parting and Gatored, he lost to Choya recently and got completely manhandled by Seed and Tails too. This discussion is apparently irrelevant though since Vampire got 2-0'd by a Zerg who's name we don't even know lol xD Show nested quote + On January 05 2012 18:42 Hassybaby wrote: On January 05 2012 18:40 Haydin wrote: On January 05 2012 18:37 Mandalor wrote: On January 05 2012 18:35 RPR_Tempest wrote: http://www.gomtv.net/forum/view.gom?topicid=214678&cid=0&kind=8 Ace beat HongUn ![]() Why the sad face? But Jinro VS Hongun could mean we'd get Mech VS Carriers...IN SC2. Like Jinro vs MC again! hose games were so good to watch Too bad Jinro sorta dismissed mech in his TvP. Not seen him stream too much, so I dunno how much practice he's put into it recently, but he just didn't like it. Even the master of Mech Mr IMMVP laughed off the idea of using it vs Toss yesterday (which is a soundbite to spam @ Artosis if there ever was one) Top vs P in GSL he has 63.6% Win Ratio....55.6%vs Z win ratio.....54.2%vs T win ratio!! So yes its his best match up =P
