HoN is free Yup just checked a little while after.maybe i will give it a shot..it wasnt free when it started right? No, it was $30. It eventually ended up being free. People with 'legacy accounts' aren't affected, though, which is great.
it's worth giving a shot for sure, /join Clan Teamliquid in-game

If by finals you mean the final tournament, yes it started on Friday. If you mean the grand finals of the tournament, nope, starts in a few hours.^^

One of the LIONs players couldn't make the trip to DHW or NASL so i think they go Reelo to step in for him - i think :p

I'm assuming you mean 12am? yes 12am, monday morning. Don't like the time either. It's okay to watch at 4:45am on sunday, but for us europeans it's monday 4:45am. By now I'm used to sitting in every monday's lectures with about 90 minutes of sleep.

Usually you can tell which team is ahead based off the gold and experience difference.
There are other factors though, if one team has powerful late game carries they may not perform early game but their team gets exponentially more powerful the longer the game goes on, so they can afford to be a couple kills down early game and still be alright. Also, the amount of towers left and if Rax are down can make a big difference as well.
The higher the level, the longer your respawn timer as well. So if a team fight goes horribly, horribly wrong late game there is still a major comeback chance. You really have to be careful at all points of the game even if you do have a big lead.

HoN is wrapping up. SC2 will be starting soon.

I have a question... Is HoN gonna survive when Blizz dota and dota2 come out? isn't it smaller than LoL already?

They probably used a stand in for whatever reason.

OK (the organisation) disbanded just before Dreamhack, the team remains the same. I guess they paid for themselves for NASL. Feels bad for OK, especially three of them (H4nni, Mag1x and Powzilla) were around for ages in HoN (old KD gaming), and they got dropped in a bad way.

Blizz DotA isn't anything serious and won't do anything to the scene. It's completely different to LoL, LoL is extremely casual which is far less mechanically taxing. It's similar to Dota2, it will probably lose a lot of its player base but it definitely will "survive".

For some reason, watching HoN while listening to LoTR soundtrack is a really entertaining experience For the record, I don't understand 80% of what the commentators are saying so it's ok

How is that allowed...it sounds like cheating and doesn't make any sense.
