Also wtf sweden why so many good protoss?
In general I'd say that Sweden is the second best country for SC2 players.

Almost too volatile for my taste. It happens when the no name plays better than the big name. Seiplo's probe count has always been higher than Huk's. In game one he was perfectly prepared for DTs, in game two he managed to balance his aggression/defense way better than Huk. PvP in general dunno, but this match wasn't volatile. DT vs robo in game one, exact same opening for both with the slight difference between blink vs observer in game two. Having a big name doesn't necessarly mean having a free win against someone you don't know. For what I know, maybe Seiplo has spent a lot of time training and winning. This is Seiplo for you. And in DH he has already beaten Genius and TLO. There are no major tournaments because he hasn't been invited anywhere and his team probably can't afford to send him to MLG etc. I was quite impressed by seiplo's macro especially when he was down probes after Huk's attack into his main game one. Are you insinuating that we don't have any good zergs/terrans?

So ... who is going to be the next person to make it into the Blizzard Cup!
I am hoping for either HerO or Ret. I wouldn't mind ToD either though. Nerchio would also be interesting.

This should probably be DRG's tournament now, maybe nerchio could give him a run for his money.

What's the all time Head to Head for DRG vs Hero? Has he ever beaten him in a series other than the last round of Code B to qualify for that one GSL?

Since my boys Sen and Sheth are out and there are already a shit ton of Zerg, I'm going to root for ToD provided he continues to own it up. Or HerO.

PlayXPers are hating on the TLPD rankings without even understanding what ELO is. -_-
They also don't see that it has 2 seperate rankings for Korea and International....

k.
You realize the advantage Hero had in order to make that harass viable right? If anything, it's a bad BO decision by sheth. WP attacks counter early mutas hard, since you won't have enough units to defend properly. He harrasses beautifully with amazing multitasking in every game he plays. And yet still got crushed by DRG in this tournament and could barely get past Ret (definitely not a Top 5 Zerg) in MLG. His harass style is cute, but he needs to combine it with an old-age-MC style threat of terrifying 1-2base pushes to really do well. One of those games was a nydus allin though, which isn't anything to do with his playstyle. MC is terrible against zerg, can't count how many zvp's he's lost in the last 4-5 months. The matchup is pretty hard for protoss in general, though. But i in a bo3/bo5 I agree you need to mix it up a bit.
That's what I meant by "old-age-MC". The MC that could outright win games in GSL vs Zergs with a 3gate sentry pressure before expand. The MC who invented or perfected half the timing attacks Protoss has. Not the MC whose gameplan for PvZ seems to be: "get a Stargate, fail to pressure with that then fall behind and die" or "Warp Prism sentry drop and hope Zerg doesn't know how to beat it".
If Hero mixed his macro games with the threat of a straight-up, no-holds-barred 7gate or a 4gate Nexus cancel every once in a while, he would be truly monstrous. As it is, he goes into every game with the same gameplan: expand, harass and macro up relying on micro. It's a really solid gameplan, but not scary enough: every Zerg knows what to expect. That's why MC had the best PvZ on the planet just a few months ago: his macro games using Stargate play were scary, but Zerg also feared his all-ins too.

Quite lucky for him given that his group stage was probably the easiest possible and he met HuK in the Ro16, but he does not stand a good chance against the likes of DRG or Puma. DRG no, Puma perhaps. Seiplo focused 100% of his practice for DH on his vT and he said he now feel it's his best matchup.
