No player/caster bashing, or balance whining. Bans will be handed out like candy. (page 217)

No sexist jokes or anything of that nature either. Be mature people.

So looking at the brackets it looks like all the Koreans have been knocking eachother out? With the exception of Gatored beating one of course.

So my predictions are:
1st section: Leenock (56th Seed)
2nd section: NesTea (53rd Seed)
3rd section: MVP (3rd Seed)
4th section: HerO (7th Seed)

Possible upsets:
Gatored (40th seed) > Leenock
Sheth (2nd Seed) > HerO
sC (54th seed) > MVP

Odds are MVP is going into IdrA's section.

Gatored > Leenock?
Wow O_O That's a ballsy prediction.

I said "possible" not "probable"

But seriously, Leenock has never been spectacular in ZvP. And Gatored can pull off some weird ass builds.

I could see that happening, Leenock did lose to Inca at one point.

But leenock then beat huk twice and has now beaten Oz. I think leenock's zvp has improved way beyond to when he lost to Inca lol.

just because he loses 1 match that doesnt mean his zvp is bad rofl, u need to base a players skill off of HUNDREDS of matchs.. not just 1 series

He lost countless of ZvPs prior to that Inca loss, including one to Bo5 series to Tassadar. He's also got a less than 50% win rate in the matchup.

sample size is still way too small to make those type of assumptions, hell gatored has a 48% wr vs z and a 50% wr vs t(vs foreign players at that) and hes beating code s players left and right

Major beat artist. Off the top of my head.

Also TLO beat Illusion who's in OGS.

I thought Artist lived in the US, not that he's necessarily bad though. Nice win for TLO however -- he's been having a tough time lately. I've never heard of Illusion unfortunately.

This is why MLG format is so hard to win, because in GSL you can prepare for your match, watch replays ect... In MLG you play game after game, and Gatored is the kind of player with timings that will punish a player who is playing standard safe which most confident players will do, pretty damn easy to tell if leenock prepares and watchs a few replays he will win ez

Seeding was messed up pretty badly to get Oz, Ganzi, and Puzzle all in bracket 7 of the lower bracket.
1,3,4,5 and 8 have no GSL Koreans

Maybe not then. I definitely remember someone saying on the stream or maybe here, that the guy playing used to be known as icecream, but they might have been wrong. Seems more likely that it's the guy from vile now.

Yea, it was definitely Vileillusion
Ganzi beat me without stim. Ostojiy beat me with a nydus. Siphonn beat me with probes. Revival beat my sentry-immortal all-in.

I'm sad that Incontrol couldn't take advantage of his easy bracket. He really should of made it to the open bracket finals. I'm a long time believer in him but sadly I might need let that go....

You guys seem to forget that all the losers brackets still have more players drop down into them.

Players to drop into those final slots:
Sheth or Major
Losira or sC
Machine
Spanishwa or TLO

Any one of those players could take their respective losers bracket finals easily (except whoever drops into Puzzle/Oz/Ganzi/Tyler. I'll laugh so hard if Losira or sC drops there).

Ya that's a very impressive win! I don't know why we don't see more of Gatored tbh. He qualified for WCG IIRC, and then did quite well at the last IEM.

A random interesting fact, Destiny and Machine only played ZvZ's up until each other, and by the time they met up it was already known that they would be playing Nestea afterwards. >.<

Hah, on further inspection, the matches on the other side of the bracket were LZ vs CatZ (ZvZ) as well as Nestea vs Vibe (ZvZ). That is quite the zerg filled bracket.

Nestea has only played ZvZ so far and that's so funny cuz that's his best MU lol.
