No player/caster bashing, or balance whining. Bans will be handed out like candy. (page 217)
No sexist jokes or anything of that nature either. Be mature people. |

That actually got me giddy. Thats a great idea! jaw dropped. Speechless, giddy giggles all about. haha for those 10 seconds, he was the best protoss player I was watching lol

I used to think previous MLG tournament system was unfair, and benefited the wrong players in favor of viewers. But this system is worst, it keeps benefiting some wrong players and throw Pro's vs Diamonds on the streams.

The guy lost but he put forth a good use of micro, it was a fun game.

Good Guy Puzzle:
Creates distraction such that LR threads on TL concentrate on the actual game instead of qq.

Close? 2-0 Did you watch the second game? To be fair it wasnt as close as we thought because nobody let us know that there was as much damage done in Nikoras's main as there was If Nikoras had gone straight for the gateway pylons instead of killing the one at the ramp + moved his probes, he would have done equal damage to Puzzle as he took. So it was close!

The thing is, if nikoras had warped in some units in his base, he might could defended it, he actually was very close of winning it

I believe he is diamond. His play is obviously not very clean or refined but he has potential.

To be fair those were some magical forcefields from Nikoras. Just a shame he transitioned into losing his whole fucking base.

Well honestly the game was 10 times more epic without noticing Puzzle's counter until the last minute.
It's like "Wow, is that random dude really doing it? hype, Hype, hyPE, HYPE!!!! Oh I guess he's not..."

LOL how can he think it was a close game? Clear-cut winner when those 4 stalkers were at Nikoras main.

That was fun, come on guys, this is the open bracket early rounds, diamond players against code S, everyone talking down the diamond player or the casters ... come ON, this is exciting as it could possibly get for such a match up, just let it go, let it be.
|
This was something mentioned on a State of the Game ages ago. Lack of information can sometimes make things more tense or dramatic. Would knowing about the stalkers earlier make that game more exciting? Less?
The reference used was not being able to see what people were building. Having units come out of nowhere and suddenly change a fight can cause some nice drama. Calling that bad observing is a bit unfair - the relevant facts were shown, and hell, it made it an incredibly dramatic moment.
Nikoras should be happy with his performance. He managed to out-think one of the best players but failed on the multitasking. Pretty cool.

Actually it says something about the skill floor, not the skill ceiling.

Diamond but I wish we would see those FF's more in the pro scene. Look what they did for him!

I would absolutely love to see a korean netizen reaction thread to nikoras vs puzzle.

Umm.... but he didn't. If he had thrown it, that means he woulda lost. Hence throwing the game. You can't "throw the game" and win.
