If he wanted to maybe run into nesteas main and try to force a baserace or something risky like that, but lings would have melted to the army nestea had.
Only thing I could think of those minerals could be used for is mass spine defense, but then that's drones lost. Still better than losing though. Spines take too long to build however so that wouldn't have worked unless he thought of it in advance. I just think idra got caught off guard, he really wasn't expecting that roach hydra to be so efffective.
