Own3d usually sucks compared to twitch/justin for us. But recently justin/twitch hasn't been doing too well and own3d seems to be bearable sometimes. So *shrug*

Which is why its Select & Sheth that are going. It was actually 3 months ago, at that, too. The SC2 section runs Friday to Sunday, per the website. Exact stream schedule I haven't found yet, but still looking (might not be posted yet, either). I find it interesting that they've split the groups up, in such a way, that the top-tier and top-named players are pretty much 2 per group. There'll be upsets, but it is interesting. Though I think 8 groups of 6 is a little rough. 5 players per group is probably the max that should happen, when there's only 2 spots. 1/3rd going away in a pool setting makes a whole lot of games fairly meaningless. (After you've lost twice, you're out of the running for the group, pretty much. Yet you still have 3 matches left)

So *shrug* Go to www.lowerping.com and download it. You can use it for 30 mins at a time without paying but it's worth the money. Open it up and use the web browsing proxy feature with firefox. I get flawless playback from jtv/owned using this ![]()

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Electronic_Sports_World_Cup_2011/Main_Tournament With MC & MKP in Groups 1 & 2, the big deal is both *have* to finish with the same standing the groups. While we can generally expect them to take first in each group, but if one comes out second, they end up facing off against each other. Further, the earliest that Idra, Thorzain, Stephano or Nerchio can run into a Korean is the Semi-Finals. Makes for an interesting time. I want to see Elfi against MC or MKP. ![]()
