This event takes place twice each weekend with both the KOTH Korea event on the KR server and KOTH International on the EU server. Each episode features exciting competitive players from GSL stars to underrated team practice heroes. Ladder points accrued for performing also contribute towards eventual offline events with much larger prizepools to be announced later in the year, and strong performances in the KOTH lead of course to potential invites to the $20,000 offline KOTH event. All invited competitors will play in order against the winner of the previous match. After all competitors have played, the player standing undefeated at the end will recieve $100 (AU$), and the player with the longest win-streak of the night will recieve $200 (AU$). Ladder points for the event will also be awarded as below: + Show Spoiler [Ladder Points] +

It would be great if you could expand in PvP yet T___T
I don't really get how Hwangsin goes on a sick kill streak like this, never see anything in his play that seems particularly inspiring. Inori T_T

I can complain when P kills P right? =p
Lots of good results for P in the last week really ^^
---
Nice timing by Hwangsin, not great defence from Coca. And ZvP is definitely back to roach/hydra most of the time T__T
ahhhh watching that last game T_T... even though coca didnt take that much damage from the DTs, that push is just so hard to hold

5 kill streak for Hwangsin? Where is this play in the NASL?
OgsFin (ForGG) where art thou??

Good god I hate Roccat adverts.
Cezanne's really got that Roach bust working for him.
Looking forward to seeing Keen play
Keen is delayed to later in the order as it's his birthday today and he will be a little late!

Good. It's the only way MarineKing can get longest win streak anyways. Assuming of course + Show Spoiler [AOL spoilers] + he still feels like playing tonight instead of celebrating his victory .

I'm watching this tournament first time. How is the order of players playing being determined? Seems like if you are the last player playing then you have a very big chance to win the "last man standing" prize. The last player also has no chance of winning the streak prize. Is it based on earlier KOTH's or completely random?

The last man standing reward is in there precisely so there's something worth playing for till the very end. If I'm remembering right the last man standing is always reinvited to lead off the next king of the hill as well. Order of play is mostly randomized.

InnateMasteR replaces IMFenix because he has to go out for a random team IM dinner! o.O

Fancy =p
===
ouch, innatemaster goes marauder + hellion all in, has marauders firing on lings rather than roaches, and attacks before stim is ready >_>
Wtf why is HwangSin always that good at the Korean KOTHs?
He didnt strike me as that impressive in the foreign tournaments he played.
Well I'd imagine the time zones when NASL plays it's not that great in KR.

You're not playing on a map that stops this wall off..?
I thought all tournaments used a neutral depot to prevent that kind of ramp block? Am I thinking of something different?

There's different versions, the ones with the supply depots are MLG/GSL maps. They probably got lazy and used the blizzard map.

MKP having a great day

Some nice play from MKP, shame about Inca's lag TT
well.... that was brutal...
wow marineking made ogscezanne look like a total scrub. actually he's making everyone look like a scrub.. LOL
he's ON FIRE. that was such a brutal game, it was almost painful to watch lol
this is event tournament so yes MKP can win
he needs to use hellions like this in TvT
Go MKP so I don't have to split the prize! T_T
Marineking switching to mech? I cannot believe what I see
MKP is so much better than keen

What an epic game. I still can't decide whether Bio can beat mech when properly played from both sides.
United Kingdom38056 Posts
This is a nice TvT, though I don't really like Keen's decision to slowly add in a BC or two. In late game it's far too easy to switch into a tech en masse so slowly adding in tech like that through mid just doesn't seem like it's that worth it unless you're committing to a rush with it.
God I hate mech TvT.
That was entertaining though, just wish MKP switched to BCs/banshees

Mech is still a shame allowing lesser good players to win :/

That is about to be the dummest thing I've read. Ever
I dont see how MKP can win this but he has made miracles out of base races b4
Cmon MKP, pull the miracle win...
are there any replays from this? i missed most of the games :<

That is so rubbish, mech requires a lot of finesse and intelligence to use. You need a lot of patience, map awareness and tactical thinking to use mech.
this is the most hilarious and amazing TvT ever LMAO
<3 MKP always makes exciting games
Holy crap, such a crazy base race game. WOW.
Just needs to snipe the raven and he has got this
United Kingdom38056 Posts
Ah epic game, Keen completely outpositioning MKP forcing the standard MKP base trade attempt, but Keen had some very good decision making throughout it with his repositioning and choice of expo to rebuild at.
GG Keen, well deserved victory =)
happy birthday too ^^
(have fun dividing del =p)
lol aw he coulda held on a bit longer there, haha
Aw almost, too bad he had his banshees clumped up
That was very entertaining though, gg!
MKP almost won $300 now he gets 1/3 of $200

What a crazy game... Madness.
that was one epic game... MKP IS SO GOOD AT LATE GAME OMG
They should have a 3 player ffa to determine who gets the cash!

Yeah.. Mech vs Bio is fair Sath!
Argh... MKP... his base races are epically awesome and such an excellent weapon to have if you're as good as MKP is at them.

MarineKing's most common patterns: a very quick win ezpz; a very long agonizing death by suffocation and endless complications.

Haha yeah it seems pretty fair right now. Hellions aren't the damage dealer of the mech army anyways, its the siege tanks. You sound familiar lol.

So keen earned more money than 5 game winners just by winning a single game. HELL YEAH MAN.
