I see no possible way to tie break for second and third place other than another round of matches between the three players, unless MLG wants to start RNGing.
A 1v1v1 would be awsome, huk and nani teaming out rain !

Just you. MLG staff saying Raleigh convention center is bigger than anaheim's.
But what about the number of people who attended?
I'm guessing a few things are contributing to this. Firstly there is a hurricane which probably prevented some people from going. Secondly LoL is at this MLG so the amount of people is spread over more games. I also don't think they have a mike pointed at the crowd because the casters have responded to cheers even though they couldn't be heard on the stream.
This. LoL is the big big draw this MLG and future ones as well.
You've posted this twice now. Everything I've heard from there is that SC2 is by far the most popular game. Are you trying to start a rumor?
Start a rumour? Its a fact that LoL is vastly more popular then SC2, just look at the numbers. No need to be bitter dude.
LOL, this dude is hiding in an SC2 LR thread and gets outed for being a LoL shill.
Get lost. Your game is not the least bit watchable and anybody who is remotely decent will transition to Dota2.
Damn dude, the pettiness is completely unnecessary. SC2 can still survive, even if a lot less people care about it then they do LoL. SC2 had a real nice piece of popularity, but now its time for other eSports to rise to the top.
I don't give a fuck about LoL but this kind of shilling is just sad.

Will his 2 base all-in do well against 1-1-1?
puma probably wont 1-1-1 kiwi because im assuming hed want to outplay him, prob see more 1rax expo b.os rather than 1-1-1's
This is probably true. Save the 1-1-1 for a 0-1 situation or vs a player that could potentially outmacro you. In puma's case, MC in a game or two. He probably figures he'll be able to dominate kiwi in a straight up game.

I assume the convo went something like this: "Kiwi, what strat are you gonna use vs. puma?" "2 base allin dood"

well, since you really wanted to compare, lets do that.
If you mean total playerbase, then I agree with you. LoL free game has more players than sc2.
Esport wise however, is different.
Peak concurrent viewers for LoL is on dreamhack (200k), whereas peak for sc2 is season 1 gsl (700k) for boxer game.
LoL second biggest game is IEM, which peaked around 100k. Lets even try to not see the declining trend of 200k->100k, it still does not beat GSL monthly tournament viewers.
Although we don't know the exact number of viewers for GSL per season, but we can easily assume it easily surpassed MLG from the amount of views on its VOD. Which MLG attracted 100k+ for sc2 per tourney
Try coming back in a year, and if LoL still has the staying power and not be completely taken over by dota2, then you can say LoL can compete with sc2 in esport
who the fuck cares, even thou lol is a retarded game which i think is completly bullshit just be happy for their community that they got those numbers (now) what do we as sc2 community care bout that, be happy etc, u dont ve to hate on everything :3
Agreed, the hatred for LoL is unnecessary.
What's unnecessary is you posting multiple times in this thread to say LoL has a bigger audience in Raleigh or LoL has a huge audience in Raleigh when the truth is that LoL doesn't even have an audience there from everything I've heard from the floor. What's your location by the way? You're obviously not there.
