I think an Optimus - MVP final is the most likely scenario, with July the only one capable of upsetting this balance of power atm. If he cheeses MVP out again i'll be mad, but i doubt he can achieve that in a BO5. In fact, i'm gonna go as far as to say that MVP won't lose another game until the finals. Clean 2-0 vs HuK (not sure if RO8 is bo3 or bo5) and 3-0 vs July.

Just looked it up apparently Ro8 is bo5.

Nada, whyyyyyyyyy.
Guess winning MLG will make up for it

As for bracket predictions, MVP has an easy ride to the finals where I hope he meets Polt

Random. But I respect your opinion and I can totally see where it's coming from.

I didn't watch the games but did July really send all his drones both games as an all in (proper definition) a la BBB? Would appreciate confirmation!

He does it only in important games like this one : + Show Spoiler +

Well, the players everyone wants to see in the finals are being knocked out while Terran overall continues to dominate.

Just another day at the GSL really.

8 out of 16 players advance.

2 out of 4 Protosses advanced (2 out of 3 against Terran).
1 out of 2 Zergs advanced (0 out of 1 against Terran).
5 out of 10 Terran players advanced.

Point out the 'continued' domination please.

Are you "really" counting Terrans losing in a MIRROR match? Ok, that's it for now, I can only handle so much stupidity on one day...

What?

All non TvT results add up to 50% as there were no mirror matches besides TvT.

And you call me stupid for that?

Count carefully...T won 3 games out of 5 in TvZ/P

3 out of 5? It's almost like their chances of winning are 50% and the discrete nature of win/loss numbers in a match of starcraft forced the eventual number in a very small sample set to land on the higher side! Call David Kim -- NERF STATISTICS T.T

It's amazing how Terran win ratios in the GSL always tend to land on the "higher side". And that's with reasonably large samples from a whole month of Code A/S and GSTL.

Different argument. I was just backing up the guy who was being called stupid by the guy calling people stupid whilst being stupid.

Yes? :p

MVP has expressed his distaste for 1/1/1, so maybe he'll play straight-up. Optimus might actually lose to Keen, should the latter play like he played against Bomber.

Pretty sure he was. Don't think that was the only time he spoke out against it. Apparently, in the korean community, he's known as the 'conscience terran' because of it.

Well this whole line of argument is pretty stupid to begin with considering he got his numbers wrong in the first place, and it's just a stupid line of reasoning to begin with.

5 Terrans, 2 Protoss, 1 Zerg is pretty normal anyway, no one really bats an eye anymore to those kind of numbers.

I was predicting a Bomber v MVP finals but now it seems most likely Polt vs MVP yeah.
