Just another day at the GSL really. 8 out of 16 players advance. 2 out of 4 Protosses advanced (2 out of 3 against Terran). 1 out of 2 Zergs advanced (0 out of 1 against Terran). 5 out of 10 Terran players advanced. Point out the 'continued' domination please.
1 Toss didn't face 111 and the other toss basically lost game 1 to 111 and basically all-inned for the other 2 games
Any toss that says PvT is imbalanced beyond that marine banshee tank timing is just whining. 111 concerns are legitimate even if you believe its more of a wait and see situation vs actively fixing it through game balance.

it is just you. they had 50% win rate.

Also the finals he can face Polt. 'Nuff said. Actually, MvP is an absolute beast in TvT and TvZ but have previously been having really big problems in TvP. If he has fixed that, I'd agree, but it's not wrong to point to that flaw in his game. You're still under the impression that MVP is the same MVP from 3 months ago in TvP. Did you not see him demolish MC over and over again in recent games? And that's just one example off the top of my head, i don't remember the last time i saw him loss vs protoss recently.
what are you talking about, MVP just abused the shit out of MC with a marine tank banshee raven scv bunker contain. If MVP underestimate HuK, and don't use abusive strats like that, I can easily see him losing. I'm not impressed by his PvT

Are you "really" counting Terrans losing in a MIRROR match? Ok, that's it for now, I can only handle so much stupidity on one day...

pretty happy huk won. fist pumped

The reason people love July (at least for me) is because he makes the game do what he wants, either he destroys you, or he destroys himself. He plays the opponent, making you do what he wants and daring you to defy him. He lives on the edge more than almost any other sc2 progamer which is incredibly exciting to watch and through sheer skill manages to not fall over it more often than not.
There is almost noone out there who can come close to playing like he does.

I hope no one posts that nonsensical argument about Terran popularity contributing to the over-representation of Terran players. Why would that even matter at the highest level of play? Fact is, Terran rewards players the most for multi-tasking, while being a minimal-risk. safe, race. Of course they will be over-represented. At the very top, though, it should be more even, which is why we have similar championship results for each race.

It wasn't greed at all.. it's the only way to play in this map, he even got A LOT of cannons A lot of badly positioned cannons. So what? Roaches positioning themselves on the Nexus has been happening since Idra did it to whats his face after / before the Clide game. I can make 50 spine crawlers to defend my base but if they're behind the mineral line they're not stopping people killing my hatch.
do you realize protoss needs a wall and zerg doesn't? do you realize the only choke to do it in this map is there? so you can't put cannons except in the front of the wall to hit roaches without being outranged by them, but getting very exposed

Did you forget how angry you were when this style completely failed against solid players like MC? Roachling and Bane busts are not hard to hold off. It's why July is the only zerg who still does them. (regularly) It's why July will never win a GSL, he uses tactics that rely on luck, luck that his opponent will make critical mistakes. It might work on Ro32/16 players, but the deeper he gets, the less that shit works, and he transitions into his muta/bane style which isn't that amazing compared to other zergs. Predicting that a golden mouse winner will never win a GSL. lol @ LR threads he was finalists against MC in the 3rd season... this guys... that was the 5th gsl, in the 3rd one it was rain vs mc oh yea, you're right
