Did Nerchio actually play HuK ? Or was it 2:0 by default ?

are the people watching the stream now are all the LoL viewers?

They have 12k between the streams and i'm sure there is overlap, unless the numbers being generated are wrong.

http://www.solomid.net/livestream.php?s=8029#27904:esl.tv this is official Riot LoL stream, 116k ppl watching atm.

Is this stream embedded into the game again like on dreamhack?
If yes, those figures absoulutely mean nothing.

This is what it looks like when you start LoL. So obv that helps, A LOT, but it's not like the numbers are bullshit or anything.

Is Dota 2 better to spectate/understand for complete nubs than LoL?

I want to learn a bit more about one or the other this week, but if Dota is easier I'll duck out and prep some dinner before Dota comes on.

No, LOL is much simpler, easier to learn. DOTA teams actually utilize complicated strategies. If you are a complete noob, LOL is your game.

Just like SC2 in relation to BW.

...

Or at least that's what an angry elitist will say. More reasonable people will tell you it's just a different game with similar mechanics.

No, hes actually right. I play and like HoN and LoL, LoL is a casual game for a audience that overall isn;t as good.

Ok, I agree that the audience is casual and the game is very noob friendly.

At the higher and "pro" level, though, the game requires almost as much skill as its counterparts, simply because you aren't playing yourself, but playing another team of humans who have to follow the exact same rules.

What happens is that LoL has easier mechanics (just like SC2 in relation to BW). You can press S and your hero stops attacking completely, for example. This makes the mechanical part of the game easier but doesn't take the merit out of the strategical parts.

My predictions for the playoffs:

SeleCT > MC
MaNa > mOOnGlaDe
Socke < Kas
Nerchio > PuMa

SeleCT < MaNa
Kas < Nerchio

MaNa < Nerchio

I hope he learns from this and denies tournaments in the future. It is impossible to perform while travelling this much.

Socke vs Kas is pretty even, and I don't see Kas play often, and Socke has been invisible (even though he makes it to top 5 in every tournament).

I say:

Mana
Socke
Nerchio

Overrating Nerchio and Select IMO. They will get stomped :/. I don't know what leads you to believe Select will beat MC considering their last meeting.
