Cant believe theres so much hate in these threads while we're so blessed with a wonderful event, with wonderful games. Last warning, whine and insult the players or commentators? See you. |

That is HuK. Nani is 8.. he already has a Code A spot. it will go to position number 9 at the highest, which I do agree is stupid.
Yeah, people are gonna start questioning this BIG TIME I think after we see Fenix in Code A... That's gonna be BRUTAL.
If he win's it will be the biggest upset I've seen in a long, long LONG time. Not even GSL february compares to the upset if Fenix wins. Which would be awesome, but not gonna happen I'm afraid. Definitely rooting for him tho.

But Ganzi wasn't invited. He paid his own way/Slayers paid for him to go through the open bracket. It's unfair he has to go through the mega difficult Code A qualifiers when he did better/and would do better than anyone who gets the spot.

Why watch ads when you can watch Dark Phoenix roflstomp?

Lee is now tweeting that SeleCT (so presumably Moonan) is elegible for it, and that it's more to do with being in a non-korean based team.
Sounds kind of like they're patching this on the fly having failed to consider what the wording implied.

How did you read "BoxeR is more fitting than MMA in Code S" from me saying that BoxeR gave both game 1 and game 3 away :o?! I had no intention saying that. I just said BoxeR let won games slip by.

This answer just says "we don't know yet/we haven't decided yet" tho. He had another tweet which basically confirmed that Ganzi DOES NOT get a Code A spot.
MLGLee Lee Chen Code a is foreigner only "@ajaguar14: @mlglee I think you already answered this, but does Ganzi get a code A invite?"
And then to clarify it (relating to Select, Moonan and other Koreans based overseas):
Select is eligible. "@kegwen: @MLGLee so selecT wouldn't be eligible? That's pretty dang stupid, Lee."
MLGLee Lee Chen This is correct. RT @Frog_sox: @MLGLee Non-Korean based/team aligned players then I guess is the criteria.

You guys are silly. OBVIOUSLY the code a invites are for non-Koreans only, it's been confirmed by MLGLee on twitter, and it's been stated already in the past! If koreans could get the code a spots from getting up through the brackets, then we'd probably be seeing more Koreans getting sent here by their team to snatch up those spots (as shown on the GSTL there are some REALLY talented players not in code A). Thus they would bypass the code b tourney (which is really difficult to get through) completely!

Easy to miss.
He later wrote on his twitter that Ganzi would not get code A, to clarify.

Im telling you since the Halo finals are about to end with a 6-0 they are probably waiting for that so they can broadcast the SC2 finals on multiple stages.

also, sundance said 'stream starts' which means the views from both streams AND (including halo and black ops) were included he also actually never said 'unique' so that means any time you refresh the page it gets counted

Why can't they cheer on MMA even though their favorite BoxeR lost. Complete fucking assholes right? Seriously this crowd is amazing with their signs and interactions with the players, and I just fucking love how the internet decides to nitpick at them for "not being unbiased enough." Not to mention they gave a standing ovation after that series. I think the player boo'd yesterday was Cruncher when he faced idra. Is that really a surprise? That would happen anywhere. No it wouldnt, do you think Germans would boo people playing TLO in Germany or Swedes booing someone playing Thorzain or koreans booing. No i didnt think so.

They literally only give them to members. That one person who got it is extremely lucky.

Is it? If a foreigner gets invited, more foreigners will tune in to watch the gsl, and gsl will get more revenue. I don't know if this would bring in more viewers then boxer, but I would certainly argue its not "obvious" which is better from a business standpoint
