Cant believe theres so much hate in these threads while we're so blessed with a wonderful event, with wonderful games. Last warning, whine and insult the players or commentators? See you. |

MMA and Boxer, whoever wins gets Code S. Code A spots are foreigner only unfortunately, going to have to back to like 15th place to get people for it i think code A cannot be granted to the mlg-gsl invites (boxer/mma/drg/mvp) but the ones who went through the open bracket - ganzi, choya etc can get it PLEASE PEOPLE. Here is the direct quote from the thread"Code A status will be awarded to the next three highest placing non-Korean players." THIS IS NOT TRUE
This is the exact wording on the LIQUIPEDIA page where it was taken from. The official announcement differs, allowing non-invitees to get the invite.

So unless MMA or Boxer wins they are staying in Code B.
Well that is sad. No offence to foreigners but they dont deserve code A spots...i know i know its part of the exchange program...but just sayin.

Wait, I don't get it, why was MMA invited again to Anaheim? I thought he was already invited for Dallas..

What if MVP wins...?
Are there two Code S spots or something? You know who MVP is right? I didn't realise since he's already Code S they just give it to someone else ^^ I suppose that's nice of them though. As cool as Mvp is, I don't think he needs 2 spots. If it was July maybe, but this time they'll give the code s spot to the winner of MMA/Boxer.

"Through the MLG/GSL League Exchange program, the Anaheim Champion will win an invitation to compete in GSL Code S, in addition to the $5,000 prize for 1st Place. If the Champion already has Code S status, it will be offered to the next player in the Top 3 who is not already in Code S. If all three of the Top 3 players are already in Code S, no Code S status will be awarded. Also on the line are three spots in GSL Code A, which will be awarded to the three highest-finishing players who do not currently have Code A status or higher and were not invited via the League Exchange Program."
To end all the doubts about the Code A and Code S spots.

Ganzi and Moonan can, MMA and Boxer cannot.
Fucking MLG changing the rules... they should change the original text as it still says non-kr

So Ganzi gets Code A.
Boxer v MMA. Winner gets Code S. Loser gets nothing.
Correct? So many conflicting comments at the moment.
