He can't throw away his racks for scouting. He has to build reactors and more tech labs...it just adds more flexibility into the late game. Otherwise your build is to rigid and it shatters when zerg scouts and counters. He has to get blue-flame. Know he doesn't like it...one reason has been that he has said that +2 attack = blueflame but his upgrades have been slow and he can't wait this long. He has to build maruaders vs zerg...not to over do it because ling/muta will be incoming. But marauders decimate roaches...even MMA builds marauders against zerg when they go muta/ling so it is worth it. Lastly, TLO has to work on securing the third more. He can get away a planetary at his first expansion because mech builds are so gas expensive and immobile. I like goody's Mech build vs zerg so much better. Usually a reaper or banshee (or both) to throttle down zerg production. Goody's Hellions are more likely to get medivac escorts...as opposed to TLO running always through the main. Goody likes building that one viking which actually is very good against mutas. The viking hovers around a thor/turret for protection and then gets free pokes at the mutas as they try to fly around the base. Very underrated unit in TvZ. It also clears out scouts and puts the zerg in the dark which stops them from overdroning. Goody also like to build that raven which can help so much (vs burrowed roaches, tumors and during battles). | ||
