He Dominated every game. And I having seen him doing that cuing for some time. Maybe the caster didnt show this. GoOdy has improved a lot. He takes down every Zerg in his way. (Last week IdrA, Nerchio etc)

That IS the problem tbh, goody doesn't get the recognition that he deserves for his achievements. Indeed he is a top player, but unfortunately no one knows that much about him. He jsut gotta win a major "LAN" that everyone watches like MLG or Dreamhack.

I feel like many top players respect Goody and describe him as an intelligent player. They also make fun of his macro, though.

Honestly, if he started losing to everyone next week people who flip-flop like they always do. Don't think someone with his mechanics can be considered a top player. Doesn't matter if he's taken out a few top zergs recently...

I have to kinda agree with this. Most pros, or actually maybe the whole SC2 scene doesn't want to believe that Goody with his awful macro is stealing games off people like Idra/white-ra/nerchio/Nestea/ret.
As people have said anyone who watches the EU scene knows that Goody is a top tier terran and that's saying a lot, I mean a lot for EU where 80% of their top players are terran, 10% toss, 10% zerg.

Please stop talking. You have no idea what so ever about the EU scene and somehow you make the worst statement possible concerning the EU scene. The 20th top Eu Terran can probably easily rip apart the top NA terran.
I don't get why goody doesn't practice his mechanics ultra hardcore his strategies are really good (it's basically the only reason he's winning soo much imho) so if he has faster apm/better macro, imagine how badly he could dominate the european scene
SC2 thankfully is not all mechanics, it's also playing intelligently, outsmarting your opponent.. and he does that very well. People are not used to his style, so they arent that good versus it. Goody is awesome, stop the hate and accept that SC2 is more than just mechanics.
For me it almost seems that GoOdy made a pact with devil. His apm is 70, macro is almost non-existent, queying up SCV's and units... and almost always "by a miracle" pulls a victory. But congrats! It's not easy to constantly getting high in many tournaments
Certainly in TvZ, mech has a lot going for it, but imo it is more timing based, which is what Goody does I think. Yeah, sure if you mass hellion/tank/thor to max whilst on 3 base you're going to lose, but there is no reason why a mech push can't be timing based. The only bad part is that often it is all in, as in, if you lose your army in a trade, you lose the game. Imagine someone with Bomber or MVPs mechanics and Goody's knowledge of mech. It might not be standard, but it would sure be super scary.
Having said that, I don't understand why people don't use timings against Goody, if he macros poorly and gets supply blocked, he would be most vulnerable to timings. Getting supply blocked 5 times in a game doesn't actually matter once you reach maxed.

If you notice, no one's calling him retarded, or someone who can't execute strong builds. We just expect people who have been playing this game for so long to at least match his decision making and strategy and then come over the top and smash with good mechanics.
