It's not even that unconventional. I think it followed the general maxims from the "Chinese PvZ" which relies on efficient trading with blink Stalkers and upgrade advantage until you have built up a composition you can win with.

I kind of assumed since I haven't seen it in GSL and Zenio has been pretty clutch lately. I might go as far to say that it isn't convential on kr ladder
