It can't be "professionalism" becuase that doesn't make sense, they're literal bros and both have been playing sc since forever.
The reason is simple, there's a big rift. when sc2 came out day9 made himself out to be the kingpin of commentating and the community. This went along for awhile and everyone thought his dailys and casting was the best thing ever. maybe it was at the time but eventually his act got tired. his narcissism started to show up and he developed biscuititis, shouting all the time.
in the mean time his bro tasteless teams up with artosis and they become the #1 caster across the land, everyone wants them to cast the final games of their final tournaments. but they are in korea so it takes awhile for their popularity to catch on because they are on at very odd hours.
Now they are back in America and day[9] knows he's been dethroned by his brother, which by and of itself would cause some tension, but he did it with artosis, which in day[9]'s mind makes him feel like his brother couldn't do it alone and had to team up to take him down.
And now you know why they will never cast together and why they barely hang out or even speak to one another at these tournaments. Is that why Day[9] went all the way to Korea to meet his brother earlier this year? Am I being trolled?

I don't think she will want to associate with esports after this, unless she's getting desperate for a job. People being pretty bad on her facebook, not exactly a good first experience for her. From Josh's earlier tweet, she was reading about SC afterwards so she's probably a bit embarrassed after that heh. I don't feel bad for her since she took the job but yeah, no need to laugh at her in her facebook. Keep it here instead . Nobody is laughing at here on Facebook. She's getting attention is all.... Good for her! You're not being very truthful, her facebook is full of trolling. It has gone beyond trolling at this point. It was funny when kids were posting "excellent" and something about zvg, but now kids are just getting mean. I understand she doesn't know much about Starcraft, and it's funny to do some playful kidding around, but when you have posts like "BITCH THIS IS THE FIRST NASL." then it's going too far. Like seriously, some of these people need to calm the fuck down. I feel bad for her. Her mistakes are funny and I got a good laugh out of all the jokes everyone is making about them, but its not her fault, she's just doing what she's been hired to do. It would be like sending me to interview people on the red carpet at the New York fashion show. People like the ones posting really horrible things on her facebook make me wish I pull some crazy private investigator shit and expose them for the sad loners that many of them probably are. I really agree that Anything like facebook posting and being rude to her has definitely crossed the line. I am happy she is trying to learn more about SC2. I liked most the interviews she did, but some were pretty funny.
EDIT: SHE IS BACK ONLINE!!!!!

To be honest... these breaks have been 45mins max (which is still too much)... At the GSL you can often find breaks being 10-15mins... I know these numbers are NOT simular... But yeeeah... GSL isn't really perfect

i thought it was funny and a pretty good way of killing time. just think of it kinda of as a joke/prank and just don't take things too seriously

This is why we can't have nice things.
Actually I'm fine with what's being posted here, this is TL.net, a haven for the hardcore.
But I looked at what's been posted on her FB page and I almost threw-up. She's never gonna be seen NEAR a starcraft event ever again. Good riddance. Im sure as SC2 gains more traction there will plenty of other dumb blondes who think chess is an rts. Nothing of important was lost. Its the truth.
It won't GAIN traction if we go on a goddamn witch hunt every time a girl tries to enter the community.
That said, I'm not saying she wasn't very VERY woefully under-prepared...
Alright fine, so she's a dumb blonde, the fact of the matter is she coulda been OUR dumb blonde is all. The posterchild of e-sports.

Yeah people are being huge dicks to her. I blame the reddit community, a bunch of immature assholes who thrive on trolling and general asshole-ness. Once her facebook page got posted on that place it was obvious what was going to happen.

Nador, could you help George Martin finish his series before he dies? Do you really want the last 1/3 of it to be obsessed about a new character named Nean Plyot who has a weird split personality and yells at itself a lot for no reason?
