That implies that the observer understands that units have health and corresponding bars.

Do you think they can handle turning on and off health bars when they cant turn on Mics properly?

Companies who make that excuse don't last long in my opinion anyone who makes that excuse is just them admitting they didn't care enough to properly test everything do dry runs hire people who know what they are doing.
If your hyping your event as much as NASL did charging people money to actually watch it in HD I would expect GOMtv level of production... instead its like watching a low budget Lan event a highschool would host. If they didn't hype it up so much if they didn't charge people for HD passes and this is how it ended up I wouldn't be as disappointed. Sorry for whining again lol this is just stressing me out that this stream is this bad. It's actually giving me a headache trying to listen to this because the audio keeps going up and down and that feedback for like the first 20 mins was horrible=_=. I sincerely hope it improves tomorrow and I hope they maybe decide to just let everyone watch in HD as an apology for first day or something ( I paid for a pass and I really don't care if people get finals Free in HD considering they still wont get all the other benefits ). the first mlg was shit, the next one was fucking awesome. the same can happen for the nasl.
Actually the first 3 MLGs(2010) were awesome, then Dallas had hiccups, then Columbus was awesome.

Go watch TV. This apologism is incredibly damaging. The problems are objective fact, there's no getting around it. People are upset because they waited 2 hours for a very hyped up event with some great players and thus far it's been a disappointment. One of the many rules of the internet is "someone will defend it", but it's a very unreasonable and unhelpful stand-point to take. Taking responsibility for their errors, learning from it and building a better tournament next time around is the way to go. what, really? i'm enjoying this a lot, i've seen far worse productions, streams being down more often than not etc. of course the audio leaves something to be desired but i'm sure they are working on it. i'm also pretty sure they're not sitting there thinking everything is perfect right now but the show must go on as they say. this negative attitude is destroying this tournament more then the production in my opinion. of course i only have myself to blame getting all worked up over a live report thread. The production value/choice is destroying the tournament, not the fans who paid hard-earned cash for a product. This isn't even semi-polished. I want the NASL to succeed so badly. Please do not confuse justified criticism with trolling or bitching.
every single live tournament is the "worst tournament ever" it just makes me tired.. as i said it's my own fault for reading these threads i guess.. i just like the concept of live report threads... i'm not even defending nasl, i think it's alright, wish they would improve the sound but whatever, hopefully it works out.
also, hard earned cash.. really?

Time to cheer for Sheth !

White-ra is NOT playing Boxer incontrol. Come on, first he was like "is Squirtle in code A or S?"
This is ridiculous. Random banter at points. Low amount of excitement in their voices (hint : it's why the "hype" videos served only to make me LOSE my excitement). Bad knowledge of the 16 players in their tournament.
This is not even about the tech difficulties. I can look past the delay as well. Even bad casting I can get around, if you make an effort at least.
I can see Gretorp is really overwhelmed by this (or at least he sounds like it), but I expect much better in Day 2 and 3 if they are to be redeemed.

Well, stuff has picked up, too bad the observer has not changed.
Still, oh wow I didn't know a 15 nexus was viable on this map

I will admit I have been browsing posts more than watching the stream at this point.

I am glad that Sheth is going for a macro game and not trying to cheese the win, hope it pays out for him.

this obv mode is so bad, why don't they just stream the actual obv?

Squirtle nexus first. It's highly effective.
