Week 3:1 Matchup
Check Six Gaming (2-0) vs Complexity Gaming (1-0)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ THE TIME:
Matches have been scheduled for 02:30 GMT (+00:00) (10:30 PM EDT) on July 5th, 2011.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ THE TEAMS:
Check Six Gaming (www.check6gaming.com)
Though accomplishing an amazing 14-2 regular season in the previous season of ESEA, Check Six placed 4th overall with a 4-2 record in the playoffs. Check Six is looking to prove why they are a top North American contender. With players like Shadow, Mystik, Arcanne, Ver, and ThisIsJimmy doing very well at MLG Columbus 2011, Check Six definitely has the talent combined also with the skills of Maker, Mkengyn, and more. In week 2:2, Check Six had a dominating performance against team ViLe, scoring a 4-0 victory.
Complexity Gaming (www.complexitygaming.com)
Coming off of a series of huge victories in the EG Masters Cup playoffs just this past weekend and taking home the runner up spot, Complexity has hastily proven that the recent ROOT merger not only puts them as one of the best teams in North America, but also a huge competitor globally. In addition, Complexity is the defending champion of ESEA SC2, so not only are they at a position to make a statement, but they are also playing to maintain their top status.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ THE MATCHES:
Game 1: xSixMaker vs coLCrunCher Game 2: xSixShadow vs coLCatz Game 3: xSixMystik vs coLMinigun Game 4: xSixArcanne vs coLDrewbie Ace: If Necessary

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ THE FORMAT:
The format is a best of 5 set, the managers are asked to lock 4 players for each week and ESEA will randomly pair up the players. The matches are all independent BO3s with the winning team taking at least 3 of the matches. Each week there is a different starting map that will be used by each player in every match up, and this week happens to be Crevasse. The first four games are supposed to be played simultaneously, and if the result is a 2-2 tie, then an ace match will be used to determine the winner.

This should be an interesting matchup. From how some of them did at MLG, Check Six seems to be underrated, but I would still consider Complexity to be the favorites.
|
do you guys have standings posted anywhere? I can't seem to find them. . .

Coming off with of a series of huge victories in the EG Masters Cup playoffs just this past weekend and taking home the grand championship, Complexity has hastily proven that the recent ROOT merger not only puts them as one of the best teams in North America, but also a huge competitor globally. Im pretty sure that Mousesports won the grandfinal 3-0. Sorry if I misunderstood something, but to me this says that Complexity won the EG Masters Cup.
