I would love to go again but need to plan rather long term this time so I would need to know the days of Gamescon the tournament is on. Current plan is to show as many games as possible in both League of Legends and StarCraft II (as in: not miss a single one on stream). Groupstage on the first two days (Wednesday/Thursday), Bracket play on the remaining three (Friday/Saturday/Sunday). Something along those lines...

I really dislike that SEA gets a spot but LA doesnt. After all there is only 1 "okisch" player in SEA but a lot of good ppl in LA (Major, Fenix, etc).
SEA doesnt deserve a spot if you look at the skilllevel of the server.

Fenix made the last IEM?
And yeh, Moonglade had to defeat Loner, who defeated Sen in the Asian semi final, to advance. Considering he got 4th (I think), was definitely worthy of a place

LA falls under the "American" spots.

The seedings are based on Go4sc2/IEM performances and Tarson is #1 place there, that's why. Same reason why SjoW is #2.

European qualifier #2 started 30 minutes ago. Rotti is streaming the most interesting matches on ESL TV: http://www.teamliquid.net/video/streams/ESL_TV-2
Most of Europe's top Terran players are in this: Tarson, SjoW, Strelok, GoOdy, BRAT_OK, Happy and DeMusliM just to name a few. Also in: MaNa representing Protoss and HayprO for Zerg and TL pride!
China's qualifier is running since Friday and the top 8 are already decided. Updated the OP with all necessary information.
The third SEA qualifier just finished and only two more slots are up for grabs next Thursday.
The last American qualifier is happening tonight. Sign up now!

Good idea, gonna link it in the OP.

DeMusliM: "I think I played a lot better, but hey GG"
not fond of that stuff, Neither did Demu play better, nor any need to bm
|
yeah, he gambled by rushing into morphing banes and lost. imho that was the deciding moment
|
Yes that was bad, and in general his marine spreading was fairly weak all game which I found strange, considering demuslim normally shows good micro

That was a great trap by XLorD!!! Destroys like 10 Hellions at once

Yeah, that was the deciding moment and it's really ridiculous that Demuslim says he played better after such a huge gamble move and fail.

What was the prize last IEM to enter?

what do you mean? the price to watch it live at gamescom?
or a player fee?

On July 10 2011 23:31 eYeball wrote: What was the prize last IEM to enter? Last gamescom was purely invitational. For the later stages of IEM (European championship etc) you needed an ESL premium account (just like you do now).

Same reason why SjoW is #2. It's actually based on other tournaments as well (Dreamhack, MLG, GSL, etc). That's why NaNiwa would be seeded 10th although he was disqualified from last IEM. Sadly he refuses to participate with "such a bad seed"...
