This tournament is great, SCII shows have improved greatly since this spring! I love having the players commentate and share the spotlight.

Wow totally didnt expect that

Why? Tarson has been around the scene for much longer and has been a consistent high place finisher.

MC has great mechanics, great player. But naniwa's decision making is superb, top 2-3 in the world. Nestea type decision making.

I don't like giving Protoss compliments, but the guy makes expert decisions time and time again. Well done dude.

MC is a far better player than Naniwa, it's not close. He's much more consistant, has won far more tournaments and is better in every matchup.

Granted that MC has won bigger tournaments due to playing on a bigger stage (doesn't get much bigger than GSL) but Naniwa has been pretty damn consistant these last couple of months.

Has he? After MLG he did okay in MLG in the easiest group but lost to Slush/Losira and MC.

In WCG Sweden he lost to Morrow

In TSL3 he lost to Thorzain in the final

In Road to Korea he lost to Sase in the final.

In Dreamhack he lost to Moon.

He's been there or thereabouts in most things but he should have done better than he did.

That is 1 Terran, 1 Protoss, and 4 Zerg. PvZ maybe his weakest matchup, but you also have to consider how far he has gone in those tournaments. It's not like he loses at the beginning.

And his loss to Thorzain in the final were close games. It's not like he got dominated. How is that not consistent.

lost to the winner
final
final
lost to second place

looks pretty damn consistant to me, but of course not on MC's level. He also struggles in PvZ lately.

While I am bummed Thorzain lost, I am rooting for Tarson against Idra, doubt he'd win though, but Tarson's put up a good fight throughout this Tourney.
